Superlight Titanium pedal axles from Stan!

- Titanium pedal axles from Stan, constructed from 6Al-4V titanium alloy.
- Available for a range of pedals - Wellgo MG-1, Try-All Superlight and Echo TR Caged (NOT Platform) pedals.
- Anodised rainbow finish looks great! Please note: Due to the way rainbow parts are anodised, their precise colour patterns may vary slightly.
- All axles feature an interface for a standard 15mm pedal spanner as well as broaching for a 6mm allen key.
- Supplied as a pair of axles.
- Please note the 'Trialtech Sport Lite / Try-All' axles only fit the Trialtech Sport Lite pedal and latest model of Try-All pedal, with the small ribs connecting the main body to the arms and four flats machined on the axle for the pedal spanner. If in doubt, please send us a photo of your pedals and we can check.
- Right hand pedal axle is denoted by a coloured sticker. The MG-1 and Echo TR axles also use an opposite threaded locknut on the right axle. The Try-All axles have the same right hand thread on both axles.
- If you choose to purchase axles without locknuts, you can use the original ones supplied with the pedals.
- Weight (incl. nuts): MG-1 - 83.0g. TR - 67.3g. Try-All - 66.8g.

Additional Information

Please note that titanium anodising is different to aluminium, in that it is a surface coating rather than a dyeing process. Due to this, it is less durable and can fade / wear off after repeated rubbing.

Always use good quality tools when fitting this item and apply copper grease to the threads before installation. Do not overtighten.

Buenas tardes tengo los Pedales mono jaula Try-all Nowar de titanio me valdría el vuestro de Try-All?

Hi Carmelo - The Try-All option of these pedal axles should fit your pedals fine, although you will need to re-use the locknuts from your original axles. Thanks, Mark

Eric Lorenzo Benjamin jr

Will any of these fit the new trialtech sport lite caged pedals? What about he try-all 6061 caged pedals?

Hi Eric - thanks for your question. Yes, the "Try-All" option will fit both the new Sport Lite pedals and the 6061 pedals perfectly though. Thanks, Flipp.

Hi Chris - They certainly will! Stan's got a pair of them in his Trialtech pedals at the moment and they're working really well for him. Thanks, Mark

Will the Try-All axles fit Rockman single cage pedals?

Posted by Ross

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Ross - These axles will only fit the latest generation Try-All pedals which are slightly different in design to their older pedals/the RockMan Single Cage pedals. As a result they don't quite fit, sorry! Thanks, Mark

Eric

Sexy but not the quality I expected.

Posted by Eric

One thing I love about hi grade titanium bike parts is how well machined they usually are. Bolts tend to make a hex wrench click in with little play and threads are usually similar. This is why I was surprised that these axles fit so loosely into my crank threads compared to the steel axle. They actually wiggle quite a bit which is not very trust inducing. And they're the first axles I've ever experienced coming loose during a ride. They're super sexy and took my trialtech sport light pedals down to 244g. But I expected more for the money. Reply: Thanks Flipp, I assure you it has nothing to do with the cranks. I'm running perfectly machined trialtech SL cranks. My try-all 6061 pedals fit perfectly snug into the threads with virtually no play. I found it unusual myself.

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Eric - thanks for your review. That is a little unusual, so it could possibly be something to do with your cranks. If the pedals keep coming loose, putting some pedal washers between the axle and crank should help to keep them tight. Hope that helps! Thanks, Flipp.
