Q. Can you send parts to me in an overseas country?
A. No problem at all! We are very experienced in sending to other countries and have happy customers right across the world, see our Testimonials page. Our website is built specially to make international shipping easy - just add the parts you would like to your basket and our website will show you the shipping options and prices. You can make payment with Paypal (using your account or any Debit / Credit card) or Bank Transfer. For full details, please click here.
In rare cases, if your order is too large or heavy for an automatic quote, you can choose to save the order and then we will send you a manual shipping quote.
Please note: Customers living outside the EEC (European Economic Community) may have import fees and/or taxes added to their deliveries by you country's customs office when entering the destination country - this is why we remove UK sales tax of 20% for all orders that are sent to outside the EEC.
We do not have any control over these fees and are not legally responsible for them. It is the responsibility of the customer to research into any fees that may be charged and pay these on arrival. You will be able to find information about this on your country's government website, but there is a useful calculator that can help to estimate import fees here: Import Fee Calculator. In some cases import charges may take weeks or months to be billed for, but usually after 2-3 weeks it is safe to assume that your order has not been subjected to any import fees. Q. The site doesn't look right, or isn't working correctly on my browser, what is causing this?
A. Our site has been designed to work with nearly all of today's popular computer and tablet / mobile web browsers. We recommend using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, but Safari and Internet Explorer 9 (and newer) will also work perfectly. If you have problems using the site please don't hesitate to Contact us.
Q. When will you get a part back in stock?
A. The lead time of out of stock varies greatly depending on supplier and if they have it in stock. The easiest way to find out when a product is back in stock is to use the 'Notify me' button on each out-of-stock product. If we are aware of any reason for a large delay in re-stocking, we do our best to put that info on the product page.
Q. When will my order be delivered?
A. This depends on your location and the delivery type you have selected. There is a lot more information in our Postage section and also at checkout.
Q. What discount can you offer me?
A. The best price we can offer is displayed on the website. This takes into consideration all aspects of providing you the product, service and after-sales care that we are renowned for.
Q. I cannot get the checkout to work correctly, I am using the Opera web browser.
A. If you are using the Opera web browser and cannot access any of the https:// pages (i.e. https://www.tartybikes.co.uk/login.php) then please click on Menu > Preferences > Advanced > Security > Protocols and ensure that all options SSLv3, TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 are ticked, save the changes and then try again.
