Hi. I'm just wondering what the seattube measures on this frame? I bought the 26 Because frame from you guys about 2 years ago. Now I'm trying to build up a bike that I can do trials with just as well as I can cross country. I don't ride trials that hard anymore, mostly just mess around. I was trying to find a Spank Puff as the geometry seems perfect, but this frame is similar. But what does the seatpost measure from center to the very top? I'm hoping it's somewhere around 16" (406mm). I was looking a the STP and P2 but the seattubes are just too short to not look ridiculous riding XC! Thank you!

Hi Steve - I just measured up a frame and it comes in at 395mm (approx. 15.5"). If you've got any more questions about the frame feel free to ask! Thanks, Mark

Hi is this actually a trials frame or is it more of a dual slalom (dmr trailstar type thing)? Would this frame be ok with a 445mm a-c fork? Thanks kyle

Hi Kyle - This is a bit more of an all-rounder frame, so similar to the DMR Sidekick and Trailstar frames in that sense. Using a 445mm fork should be no problem. It'll raise the BB up a bit and slightly slacken that head angle off so should make it a bit more suitable for dirt jumps and that style of riding. Thanks, Mark

Is the body of the frame aluminium or metal?

What is top tube length?690 mm reach sounds too much, can you confirm that reach is 690 mm ?What size is bottom bracket? What is head tube inner size (for headset) ?

Hello - The reach is 690mm. As the frame has a steep head angle and a low BB height, this makes the reach measurement longer overall. As mentioned in the product page the frame requires an internal headset - any of the complete internal headsets we stock would fit fine. The BB shell is 68mm. The top tube length is 550mm. Thanks, Mark

Great Frame!

Posted by brian on 03/12/2016

Hello, I've been watching this frame for a while now and finally made the jump. Sooo glad I did!! Over the years I've been making my mountain bike more trialsy and realized it just made it not right for regular trail riding or street riding. So I made it back up more suited for trails. I had I bunch of extra parts laying around and thought time to build up a street and trials kinda bike on a budget. Well my first ride on this Monty was so much fun and way easier to maneuver, hop and manual. I love my new bike! Thanks.
