This bike is supplied with a 6 month warranty covering manufacturing and materials defects. The warranty does not cover mistreatment or poor maintenance. Please ensure all the details on the warranty sheet supplied with the bike are adhered to. Certain circumstances (such as stripped threads or rounded crank arm tapers) only occur due to a lack of correct maintenance and all manufacturers are aware of these situations, so any claims due to incorrect maintenance procedures are much less likely to be successful.

We build this bike to a 100% complete state in our workshop before dispatch to ensure all items are manufactured correctly and nothing is missing, but we do have to remove some parts to ensure there is no damage during transit. You will need some basic tools (usually 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm allen keys and a 15mm spanner) for final assembly upon arrival. We have a video guide here to help, but please don't hesitate to contact us if you require any further assistance.

Please note that the specification on the bike may occasionally vary slightly from the photos and description. If this happens then the overall effect will be an upgrade and it will not affect the cosmetic appearance of the bike drastically.

Jesus

Hello, What is the main difference between the flow and the flow plus??

Posted by Jesus on 21/06/2016

Reply from TartyBikes on 21/06/2016

Hi Jesus - The entire crankset/BB and bar/stem are upgraded compared to the Flow. Thanks, Mark

Ivan Good

Hi Is there an option to upgrade the discs to hydraulic available please? Thanks

Posted by Ivan Good on 29/08/2016

Reply from TartyBikes on 30/08/2016

Hi Ivan - Yes, Simply add the product to your shopping basket and the options / prices will be listed there. Thanks, Mark

james

hi, i've been having a cheeky gander at the inspired flow plus and i was wondering how you would fit a hydraulic brake setup because the photos show that it is set up for cable only, is this going to be a problem if i would like to fit hydraulic brakes. thanks james.

Posted by james on 27/03/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 28/03/2017

Hi James - We offer hydraulic brake upgrades for the Flow Plus, so fitting them is no problem. The only slight issue is that due to the cable guides being specced for cable brakes, you will need to ziptie the hose to the top tube, or use stick-on cable guides. This is a minor problem though, and doesn't affect the performance of the brakes or the bike in any way. Thanks, Mark

Luke

Hi there, I am 5.375 feet, and was wondering if this bike would fit be well?

Posted by Luke on 13/05/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 15/05/2017

Hi Luke - The Flow Plus should be a reasonably good fit for you straight away, although if you find the cockpit is a little too long for you you could easily fit a slightly shorter stem to help reduce the reach of the bike. It's fitted with a 90mm x 35 stem as standard, so dropping to a 70 x 35 or 80 x 40 stem would get the bike feeling a little shorter without compromising how it rides. Thanks, Mark

giordano gervasi

Hey, just wondering if it is possible to set up the tires to a tubeless setup?

Posted by giordano gervasi on 15/05/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 15/05/2017

Hi Giordano - We haven't tried it ourselves but it may be possible using a Stans NoTubes style DIY tubeless kit. Thanks, Mark

JaggedJMH

could you swap this to hydraulic disc brakes?

Posted by JaggedJMH on 15/05/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 15/05/2017

Hello - That's no problem at all. It's possible to do it once you've received the bike, but we also offer an upgrade to SRAM DB5, Hope Tech 3 Trial Zone or Magura MT7 brakes at the Checkout. Thanks, Mark

Aiden

Can I buy off this site if I'm from canada?

Posted by Aiden on 15/06/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 15/06/2017

Hi Aiden - You certainly can. We ship orders all over the world every day, especially to the US and Canada, so paying for and shipping orders overseas is absolutely fine. Please note that our prices are shown in GBP - if you'd like to check shipping, simply add the product you're interested in to your basket, then click on the basket icon in the top left corner of the site. This will give you your basket total, including the lowest available shipping price. For full details about international orders you can also check out our FAQ, but hopefully it'll all be fairly intuitive for you as you progress through the website. Thanks, Mark

Can u get a different color

Posted by logan on 29/07/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 31/07/2017

Hi Logan - The Flow is only available in the colour shown. Thanks, Mark

Yifeng

Hello TartyBikes, I see that this model of the Flow has almost identical components to the Inspired Arcade Fuse, however, there is a difference in price of almost 200 pounds, I'm just curious as to why this is the case.

Posted by Yifeng on 03/08/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 04/08/2017

Hi Yifeng - The difference is primarily down to the frame kit used on the Arcade bike. The Arcade frame kit alone costs around 75% of the value of the Flow Plus, and with it costing quite a lot more than the Flow Plus frame kit it makes the price of the bike a reasonable chunk higher unfortunately. Thanks, Mark

Rueben

Hey TartyBikes. I was wondering, with the Inspired glow 24" trials bike. When it says "add disc brakes upgrade," does it come with disc brakes if I don't add that upgrade? So if I just buy it with no upgrades, will it still have disc brakes? Thanks! 👍

Posted by Rueben on 05/08/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 07/08/2017

Hi Rueben - The Flow Plus comes with cable disc brakes as standard, so if you bought the bike with no upgrades you'd receive it as shown in the images with a pair of BB5 disc brakes. The disc brake upgrades available are for various models of hydraulic disc brakes including the SRAM DB5, Hope Tech 3 Trial Zone and Magura MT7 disc brakes. Hopefully this makes sense! Thanks, Mark

Jacob Santos

Hi! Do you deliver in the Philippines?

Posted by Jacob Santos on 05/08/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 07/08/2017

Hi Jacob - Shipping to the Philippines is no problem! We ship all over the world on a daily basis, typically using FedEx, so getting a bike or some parts sent to you should be fairly simple. Delivery to the Philippines would start from 160 for a complete bike like a Flow Plus. Thanks, Mark

Frank

Where did the Inspired element sit in the hierarchy of inspired street trials bikes?

Posted by Frank on 30/08/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 30/08/2017

Hi Frank - The Element was roughly equivalent to the Flow Plus. When it was in the range, the range went Flow - Element - Fourplay - Skye. Thanks, Mark

Ben

Hi, where do you guys get the cranks off this bike, one of the ones on my element has had the thread damaged and can no longer be used. the only cranks i can find that will fit it are the 165 Euro ones and i am not sure if this is a lower model

Posted by Ben on 27/10/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 28/10/2017

Hi Ben - The Truvativ Holzfeller or Hussefelt cranks would be a more suitable replacement, and can be found fairly cheaply on eBay or similar. They do a trials specific version with bashring and 22t chainring, as fitted to these bikes as standard. The standard cranks should still allow you to just fit your bashring and chainring fine though. Thanks, Mark

Jamie

Do you know when you will be getting any back in stock?

Posted by Jamie on 05/11/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 06/11/2017

Hi Jamie - We're expecting more of these bikes in stock before the end of November. If you'd like to be notified when they come in, feel free to set up a Stock Reminder. Thanks, Mark

Simon

Hello, can I ride my Inspired Flow Plus or the Inspired bikes in general also in winter at low temperatures or when it rains without getting damage issues? Thanks!

Posted by Simon on 12/11/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 13/11/2017

Hi Simon - Riding them in low temperatures shouldn't cause any problems. The only thing to be aware of with riding them in the rain is that the chain might become a little rusty if you don't keep it lubed. If you have the Avid BB5 brake option on your bike the cables might need a drop or two of lube from time to time too, although they're generally fairly fit-and-forget. Most other parts of the bike are fairly well sealed so you should be fine! The majority of components are aluminium so wouldn't have any rusting issues. Thanks, Mark

Ben

can you help me with my homework i need to factorise -10x + 15x² cheers

Hi Ben - The answer is 42. The answer is always 42. Thanks, Mark

Yoo Jongwoo

Is the location of the free wheel on the hub?Or is it on the crank?

Posted by Yoo Jongwoo on 06/01/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 06/01/2017

Hi Yoo - The freewheel on the Flow Plus is located on the rear hub. Thanks, Mark

Craig Mackenzie

Hi, just wondering if it is possible to route the front brake through the top cap? Thanks.

Posted by Craig Mackenzie on 27/06/2016

Reply from TartyBikes on 28/06/2016

Hi Craig - It's possible, but only if you use the Inspired Headlock Kit with it. Thanks, Mark

bridger boyd

hello my name is bridger and i was curious if there is enough cable length to allow the bike to complete either a tailwhip or a bar spin. thank you

Posted by bridger boyd on 30/07/2016

Reply from TartyBikes on 01/08/2016

Hi Bridger - This is possible, although to make sure your front brake cable is protected I would recommend using an Inspired Headlock System to route it through the fork steerer tube. Thanks, Mark

Marco

Wich bike is perfekt for 1.60 and 53kg. I'm a starter in this buissnes. Thank u for the feedback

Posted by Marco on 28/06/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 29/06/2017

Hi Marco - The Flow or Flow Plus should be about the right size for you. We recommend the Flow 20" bike for anyone from 1.20m - 1.50m, so you're out of that size range and into the size recommended for Inspired's 24" range. Either the Flow, Flow Plus or Fourplay would be a good option. If you don't want to spend as much the Flow is a great option, but if you're happy to spend a little more the Flow Plus has some nice upgrades (e.g. a high quality crankset, disc brakes as standard). Thanks, Mark

Fantastic bike & service

Posted by Robby on 27/07/2017

I bought my Flow Plus with in mind to have performance capabilities and not spend a small fortune as I haven't been on the pedals for 7 years. Shortly after receiving the bike I was impressed with the geometry and feel of the bike as well as the quality parts fitted and the color! The bike gives me confidence on the streets and I couldn't have been more pleased to be riding again. Tarty bikes your service was exceptional, you truly are the best, hands down.

Thank you Robert - really glad to hear you've had a positive experience, both with us and the bike. Enjoy!

Love it

Posted by David on 24/08/2017

Just built and bedded in the brakes on my new 2017 flow plus and I love it , the colour is slightly darker that the picture but I like it even more . Got the stock avid brakes as I'm a beginner and they are good enough to start on . Also had the inspired headlock fitted so I didn't have to try myself later on . Thanks to Adam who I bombarded with questions before I ordered and the people I spoke to on the phone all very helpful ( tarty bikes are the best shop I have ever dealt with ) . Just got to find a quiet place to start riding properly and get used to it . Thank you tarty bikes

Reply from TartyBikes on 25/08/2017

Hi David - It's great to hear that you like your new bike. The colour does come out a touch darker 'in real life' due to the nature of it being shot in a studio typically, but luckily it looks good in both forms. Thanks for your review - we appreciate the kind words too.
