Inspired Flow Alloy

- Styled to match Inspired frames perfectly, these forks are designed specifically for the new generation of street riding.
- Ultra thick CNC machined aluminium steerer tube (6mm wall thickness) is pressed and welded into the fork crown, removing the stress riser associated with the crown race seat area.
- Custom designed and manufactured disc brake mount (at the International Standard position) is extra long to prevent cracking at the top where it joins the leg.
- Super thick, large diameter fork legs provide additional strength.
- Dropout size 9.5mm to fit all standard 9mm axles (Hope, Try-All, Shimano, Chris King, V!Z, Onza, etc.). Echo hubs use a 10mm axle and will need modification.
- Fits 24" and 26" wheels.
- Disc mount only.
- Available in gloss powder coat black finish with white Inspired graphics.
- Weight: 986g

Hi Cameron - You'd need to use a standard Pro 2 front hub with a QR. Thanks, Mark

because the steer tube is threaded near the top once I've cut it down how do i re-thread the steer tube so that i can use the screw on top-cap supplied? do i need any special tools? can i do it my self?

Hi Scott - The threaded section does continue down the steerer tube a reasonable amount, so if you're only cutting your steerer down a little it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Tapping the steerer isn't a particularly difficult job though, it simply requires an M18x1.0 tap. Thanks, Mark

I need to cut the steerer down to about 190mm is it still treaded that far down, and if not do you provide treading as a workshop service so i dont have to buy a tap and die set to do it my self.

Hi Dean - If you cut the forks down to 190mm that'd be almost the exact point the threaded section ends (I believe they're threaded to around 45mm in, so with the full length steerer being 235mm the 190mm point would be the end of that area). We can tap the steerer for you - it'd be a few 's for labour, but nothing too much (around 5 at most). Thanks, Mark

Hi, I have broken my Inspired fork's top cap. Is it possible to order the top cap separately ?

Hi Greg - As far as I'm aware, the specific Inspired top cap isn't available separately. If you contact Inspired directly they may possibly have some spares, although we're unable to order them. As an alternative, the Trialtech Top Cap (Quick find code: 011287) will fit. If you wanted to run your brake hose through your steerer tube you could do that. If it's a braided Hope hose then you may need to drill the allen key broaching out to allow the cable to pass through - it's relatively soft alloy so this shouldn't be a problem. To then allow you to adjust your headset, you would need to file some spanner flats into the top cap. This would essentially make it very much like the original Inspired Fourplay top cap - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/images/custom/forks/large_inspired6.jpg Thanks, Mark

Hi, Can I remove graphics on these forks? Are they just decals ? Thanks

Hi Tyler - The decals on these forks have been lacquered over, so I think they'd be pretty difficult to remove without damaging the finish of the fork. Thanks, Mark

Is it possible to route the front brake cable through the steerer tube on these forks?

Posted by Matt on 04/02/2016

Hi Matt - That would be no problem at all. If you have a look through the Additional Images, you'll be able to see a photo of the top cap - the hose goes through the circular hole in it, allowing you to tighten your headset using the allen key broaching alongside it. Thanks, Mark

Hey, would these fit a 2014 echo 24inch frame. Thank you :)

Hi James - These should fit the Echo frame fine. You would need to swap your crown race over to these forks and possibly cut the steerer down (or put additional spacers in) depending on the height you'd like your bars to be at. Thanks, Mark

What is the easiest way to make the modification to allow an echo wheel to be used?

Hi Jake - The easiest way would be to file or grind the inside of the dropouts a little to let them accept the Echo hub. You would only need to take off 0.5mm from each side of the dropout so it shouldn't be enough to weaken the forks (I've done it to an Inspired fork myself in the past). Alternatively, you can machine down the hub axle but that would be a little more time consuming and require access to a lathe. Thanks, Mark

Does this fork have any rotor size limitations? Cheers!

Hi Julien - The minimum rotor size would be 160mm, and you can use any size up to 200mm/203mm. Thanks, Mark

Best fork ever :)

Posted by Petras on 06/11/2012

I had been using this fork all summer. It's my third fork that I am using, last forks crashed. It's was Echo and Neon forks. Inspired fork is just amazing, it's very strong, thin and what is very important you can spin your bar, do tailwhips and other, That's why I bought this fork, because you can do more tricks :). It's not cheap, but worth believe! Cheers, Petras

Hi Petras - It's good to hear you like your forks! As you say they're a little more expensive, but they will usually last much longer so you will save money in the long term. Thanks for the review!
