  • Super tough steel frame, developed with Flipp!
  • Unique geometry to make a playful, responsive bike.
  • Now featuring 135mm dropout spacing!

- After extensive testing with TartyBikes and Trialtech team rider Flipp, the Alias 20.2 frame is released - now featuring a 135mm spaced rear end!
- Suitable for use either with 20" wheels front and rear for more progressive street trials riding, or with a conventional 20" front wheel and 19" rear wheel for more traditional trials riding.
- Constructed from top quality Japanese cromoly steel to make it strong enough to stand up to Flipp's riding.
- A steep head angle and super short chainstay length make it one of the most nimble, agile frames around - ideal for either trials or street riding.
- Double butted top and down tubes help save weight whilst still being thick enough at each end to give good strength to each frame join.
- Externally relieved 120mm long integrated head tube (headset supplied with frame!) is joined to the top and down tube with large gussets to make the frame as strong as possible in this high-stress area.
- 68mm BB shell with standard 1.37" x 24tpi thread is joined to the chainstays using a substantial box yoke/brace, improving stiffness and durability.
- Wide chainstay and seatstay tube spacing allows the use of up to 2.6" tyres with either wheel size.
- Horizontal dropouts are spaced at 135mm, and feature holes for snail cam bolts to allow easy chain tensioning. Snail cam bolts are included with the frame. If you plan to use snail cams, please note you will need to either use a hub with 129mm spacing, or take 3mm off each end cap of your rear hub to give space for the cams to fit. We have a machining service available if required: End cap machining.
- IS disc mount is lengthened and gusseted to resist cracking or breaking.
- Hard-wearing powdercoated finish is teamed up with some great looking Alias 20.2 graphics.
- Weight: 2.170kg

Geometry (measured with a 365mm x 30mm fork:
- Wheelbase: 937mm

I built my first trials bike with this frame. It's been two years since then, and I am honestly blown away by how well it has held up. I can't comment on how it handles since I don't have experience with other trials bikes, but this one has taken A LOT of abuse. Between the oversized BMX tubing and the high-spec powdercoat, all it takes is a quick wipe down from a damp rag and it's looking good as new!

Hi Olivia - we're glad to hear that you're enjoying your 20.2! They're great frames, and as Flipp has shown can certainly withstand a lot of punishment. We hope you continue to have a lot of fun on your bike! Thanks for the review.

Amazing frame and super durable..!!

I bought the first Alias over a year ago and bought the Alias 2.0 back in Feb of this year.My friend didnít have the funds for it and I ended up keeping and building it up. The new 2.0 is awesome and super responsive, the new colors very cool. Also, with the 2.0 you can run a 135mm hub in back and that opens up any mountain bike 135mm disc hub. I definitely recommend this frame, Iím 6í3Ē/270lbs and itís been ridden hard and continues to be true.If youíre into hard riding and wanting to just focus on your riding and not worry about the frame snapping..this is the frame for you..
