Monty 219 Disc

Hi Lewis - With a disc wheel these should work fine with your Rip. Thanks, Mark

Vorrei sapere se la forse può montare anche i freni magura hs 33 grazie

Hi Antonio - thanks for your question. Unfortunately these forks are only for use with disc brakes, and a rim brake such as the HS33 cannot be mounted. Thanks, Flipp.

Dhamodar Smith

Hi I was just wondering would the headset First Blog Z (Quick find code: 000218) fit on this fork, and if not which should I get? Thanks

Hi Dhamodar - thanks for your question. Yes, those would fit together just fine. Thanks, Flipp.

Hello, can I mount a 200mm disc on my wheel using this caliper mounting?

Posted by mongo on 01/02/2016

Reply from TartyBikes on 01/02/2016

Hello - That should be no problem as long as you choose the correct sized adaptor for your caliper. If you check the 'Additional Information' boxes for the Hope adaptors we stock you should be able to find out which one you need. Alternatively, feel free to e-mail us and ask if you need any help. Thanks, Mark

Is this fork made by steel or aluminium? Thank you, L.

Hello - This is a steel fork. Thanks, Mark

Hi, what size disk are these for? Also, what is the finish, powder coat? Thnx!

Posted by By Neal on 01/04/2018

Reply from TartyBikes on 02/04/2018

Hi Neal - These forks are sprayed black. The disc is in a standard IS position, so would usually be suited to a 160mm rotor - however, that will be dictated by the caliper/adaptor you use on your brake. Feel free to e-mail us with more details about your setup and we'll do our best to help. Thanks, Mark

Hi there, I'm thinking about purchasing this product but would this fork be suitable with a 1/18" caged bearing headset setup? Thanks -David

Posted by David on 03/04/2018

Reply from TartyBikes on 03/04/2018

Hi David - These forks should work fine, you'll just need to fit the crown race from your headset which will be on your current forks. Thanks, Mark

joe olson

Hi, will these forks be compatible with my rockman austin v3 frame and if so can you recommend a headset, thanks

Posted by joe olson on 27/04/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 02/05/2017

Hi Joe - These forks should fit the Austin fine. Any of the headsets from our 'Standard Headsets' category should be compatible. Thanks, Mark

Randy Knopf

What size bolts do you need to attach a caliper?

Posted by Randy Knopf on 04/09/2018

Reply from TartyBikes on 05/09/2018

Hi Randy!
The bolts you'll require will depend on which caliper you're fitting to the forks, and whether you're using an adaptor or not.
Typically, though, you will need bolts around M6x16. You can find replacement steel bolts in our Steel Bolts section.
Feel free to e-mail us with some more details of your potential brake setup and we'll do our best to help.
