Echo Urban 2017 20"

4-Bolt and Disc
Disc Only

Sold out

- Echo have updated and improved one of the most popular trials forks on the market for 2017!
- The legs are now parallel to one another, unlike previous models that featured the characteristic wide appearance.
- Super thick steerer tube - 8mm at the bottom and 4mm at the top - is pressed and then wended in place from underneath to ensure good strength, durability and stiffness.
- 6061-T6 aluminium alloy construction.
- These forks have a regular crown area so you need to use a crown race.
- International Standard disc mount is extra thick to help it cope with the increased braking forces found in trials riding.
- Rear-facing 4-bolt rim brake mounts are spaced at 94mm.
- 10mm dropouts designed to accept 10mm Echo axles, though will also work perfectly with regular 9mm and Quick Release axles.
- Large holes machined out of the dropouts and a scoop taken from the crown save weight by only removing excess material.
- Supplied with a star nut pre-fitted.
- Available in Black with either 4-bolt and disc brake mounts, or disc only.
- Weight: 775g (disc only), 803g (4-bolt and disc).

Fork Dimensions
- Axle to Crown length: 375mm
- Axle Offset: 32mm
- Steerer tube length: 220mm

Additional Information

Please note some forks may be supplied with an alloy crown race to fit Echo SL headsets. If you have a different model of headset, please remove this. Any questions, please ask. Thanks.

what tire width can this fork take ? I like a fat and wide bmx tire on the front thanks, Mat

Hi Mat - As far as we know most BMX tyres should fit fine in these forks. There's no issue with vertical clearance due to the leg length, and the leg-to-leg width is around 95-100mm so that shouldn't be a problem either. Thanks, Mark

I have 4 potentially silly scenario questions: Do I need to leave the tape around the crown race collar attached? Do I use the collar on the fork with a king headset? Do I run only the king collar? Do I run the king collar ontop of the fork collar? Quick answers please. Thank you.

Hi Ash - You need to remove the Echo crown race and tape, then just fit your King crown race. Thanks, Mark

Will the steertube accept a hollow star nut, so I could run the brake line through the top cap? If so Can the forks be supplied without the star nut fitted?

Hi Joe - It wouldn't be possible to use a hollow star nut with these forks, but you could use the Inspired Headlock V2 (in Standard 1 1/8" size). Unfortunately the forks arrive to us with the star nut fitted, so you'd need to drill it out ideally. Thanks, Mark
