Please check the disc mount position on your frame or fork before ordering this item! Many trials frames and forks have their mounts in a 'plus' position as standard, meaning you may require a different adaptor than initially expected.

- CNC machined adaptor to convert IS standard disc mount forks to Post Mount calipers.
- Anodised finish to match the latest Hope brake calipers.
- Comes complete with mounting hardware.
- Available in three types: A, B and F - standard rotor sizes listed in the variation table, for full details please click here.
- Please note that if you are using a Type A Adaptor with Trial Zone caliper, you will need to add 2.5mm of washers between the adaptor and the caliper.
- The Type A adaptor is not compatible with Magura MT7 calipers.
- Finished in anodised black.
- Weight: 20g

Please note that the sizes listed are for International Standard brake mounts. Some frames or forks have the mount at a different position, such as +20 on the rear of many Inspired frames, so you will need a different adaptor in this case. If you aren't sure which one you need, please feel free to contact us for advice.

hi, i was wondering weather this would work with the avid juicy 3, and which will fit a 185mm rotor? or do i need a different size rotor?

Hi Joe - You may have to use a couple of thin spacers to get it aligned perfectly, but it should work fine. You'll need the 'F' adaptor. Thanks, Mark

Hi guys. I have a 160mm front rotor with my hope trial zone post mount brake. The adapter I have says F and it is confusing me. Is this because manufacturers dont use the same letter for the size (none standardised) Will adapter F work with a 180mm (hope saw) rotor and my brake? Thanks for all your help guys. Mark

Hi Mark - thanks for your email. The 'F' adapter adds 20mm to the required rotor size. This means that if you run it on IS mount forks, a 180mm rotor would be required - meaning your 180mm Hope Saw would fit. A lot of people get confused with the adapters, and we often find that people have fitted them incorrectly. The 'F' should be facing upwards - running it the other way may give the appearance of working, though it won't quite fit. If you want to run a 160mm rotor, you would need an 'A' adapter. Thanks, Flipp.

What adaptor would I need to use a 203mm rotor on the back of a zoot? Thanks in advance, Joe.

Hi Joe - for that you would need Adaptor G, which unfortunately we do not stock. There are many other internet shops that do stock them, though if you would like to order it from us then get in touch. We order from Hope very regularly so would be able to get one in on the next order for you no problem. Thanks, Flipp.

Is it adaptor F I need to run a 160mm mt2 on the rear of my 2012 neon bow ?? Cheers

Hi Steve - yes, that is correct. Thanks, Flipp.

HI Which adapters would I need to fit my magura mt2's, with 203mm rotors front and rear to my 2013 inspired fourplay, with inspired team forks? Cheers

Hi Adam - thanks for your question. You would need Adaptor B for both front and rear, though using a rotor larger than 183mm diameter on the rear of a Fourplay frame will invalidate your warranty. Thanks, Flipp.

Hi I'd like to ask weather it is possible that it would fit my yellow element (not sure what year it is) And also what size rotor would I use and weather it would fit hope trail zone brakes

Hi Morgan - thanks for your question. This adaptor would work just fine with a Trial Zone brake on the front of your Element. You would require a 160mm rotor with Adaptor A, 180mm with Adaptor F or 200mm rotor with Adaptor B. You cannot fit a disc brake to the rear of the bike. Hope that helps. Thanks, Flipp.

Hi, is adaptor a the adaptor to use for a trialzone with a 160 mm disc on the sl 2013 forks, thanks.

Ben Williams

hello tartybikes :). i wanted to ask about the inspired fourplay frame it say 20+ what would be at 180mm but the hope adaptor i would need to put would it be 140mm rotor to keep it at 180mm to take away to 20mm plus or would i need a 160mm adaptor to run the hope trial at 180mm please thanks.

Hi Ben - thanks for your question. The rotor size for an IS mount is 140mm. The Fourplay frames are +20mm to make the required rotor and calipers the same front and rear. For both front and rear of the Fourplay, Adaptor A would suit a 160mm rotor, Adaptor F would suit a 180mm rotor, and Adaptor B would suit a 200mm rotor. Hope that helps. Thanks, Flipp.

Hello, Can I confirm that the B adaptor is what I would need to run a Hope Mini on my Arcade with a 180mm rotor

Posted by Angus on 27/02/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 27/02/2017

Hi Angus - If you have a Red or Green Arcade, you would need the Adaptor F as those generations of Arcade frame have a +20mm rear disc mount. If it's a Black Arcade then you may need an Adaptor B, but we would need to double check - feel free to send us a photo of your existing setup. Thanks, Mark

Hi, I have an Inspired Skye V1 orange signature. Which is the correct adapter to fit 200 or 203 front and rear? The frame has +20 standard front and rear and runs 180rotor without adapter. Best regard

Reply from TartyBikes on 16/02/2018

Hi Cristian - As long as you are using post mount brakes, you would need to use the Hope Adaptor B front and rear. If you are using IS mount brakes, you'd need to go for the Hope +20mm ISO Adaptor, but you would only be able to use 200mm (NOT 203mm) rotors with these. Thanks, Mark

Nigel Parker

I recently asked the question on the adapters, and I have the blue inspired Fourplay with 180mm rotor in the back. Q1: Would the Magura Adapter Work for this? Q2: If not what size hope adapter would I need? Thanks

Posted by Nigel Parker on 18/09/2018

Reply from TartyBikes on 19/09/2018

Hi Nigel!
With that setup, if you were to use the Hope Adaptors you would need an Adaptor F on the front and rear.
If you were to use the Magura Adaptors, you would need the QM12 adaptor front and rear.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Tobias Sample

Will this adaptor work with any disc brake? Specifically, the Avid BB7?

Hi Tobias - We had a quick check and they should work with the Avid BB5 or BB7 fine. Thanks, Mark

Could I use this on a rear brake?

Trever Hoehne

So if I were attaching 160mm hope brakes on an echo mark ii, I would need an adapter A for front and an adapter F for the rear?

Hi Trever - yes, that is correct. Thanks, Flipp.
