- 108.9 engagement point freewheel from Clean, as fitted to their X1 bikes.
- 108.9 engagement points are achieved by using 9 pawls in groups of 3, engaging 36 times per rotation, for 108 engagements in total!.
- All 3 pawls in a group enage at the same time for a secure engagement, helping to prevent skipping.
- Each pawl is actuated with an individual spring, giving precise, reliable engagement.
- Black, hard andodised finsih with laser etched Clean logos looks great on any crank!
- No spacer is needed between the freewheel and crank / bash guard. A small lip on the inner sleeve of the freewheel acts as a spacer.
- Standard 4 tab tool fitting for removal and installation. We sell a tool to remove and fit this freewheel here.
- 1.37" x 24tpi thread size to fit a wide range of cranks, and hubs.
- Available in 18t only.

Freewheel width: 17.52mm

This freewheel must be bedded in before trials use, to ensure any excess grease used when assembling the freewheel works away from the mechanism. You can do this by riding the freewheel around 'normally' for a few hours, both freewheeling and engaging the mechanism gently. If the freewheel is subjected to trials use without having been bedded in, the pawls will not engage correctly and this causes the freewheel to skip, damaging the pawls and ratchet. Failure to bed the freewheel in correctly will void the warranty.
