Additional Information

Please note that we recommend double wheel tensioners for 15T and smaller rear sprockets. This is to ensure a healthy amount of chain wrap and help to eliminate the chance of the chain skipping.



Hi! Would a 12t fit an onza zoot dd? Also could i use a double chain tensioner on it?

Hi Thedy - A 12t would theoretically fit the Zoot, although it would make the gear ratio much harder than standard. You wouldn't be able to use a sprung chain tensioner as the Zoot frame doesn't have mounting points on it, so you'd need to continue using the standard tensioner system (depending on whether you have the Zoot or the Zoot Pro - if it's the Zoot, you could upgrade to Gusset Kojak tugs which are a bit more durable than the standard Onza tugs). Hi I was just wondering how do I get the hardest kick out of my 26" I've got a Jitsie varial and I've got a 15 tooth sprocket on the rear hub and not sure what tooth freewheel it's just the one you get standard on the Jitsie of your website as I bought it of someone who got it of tarty just wondering is it better to get a bigger sprocket? And possibly even a bigger tooth freewheel? I always thought a bigger sprocket/ freewheel was a harder kick but I don't know about this stuff lol

Hi - It will be an 18T freewheel up front, and I would leave the gear ratio alone, it's the best mixture of speed and acceleration for your bike. Thanks.

Hi Patrick - This sprocket would fit your rear hub on your Flow, but it would make the bike unrideable. This is a fixed sprocket, whereas your bike requires a freewheel for the rear. 16T is the smallest size freewheel available that will fit your bike. Thanks, Mark


Would this sprocket fit directly onto Onza T-Pro standard cranks? Cheers

Hi Luke - thanks for your question. This sprocket will act as a direct replacement if you have threaded cranks. A long while back, a couple of versions of T-Pro came with a front chainring and rear freewheel. If the front sprocket bolts on to the crank, this will not fit, though it is quite unlikely you have one of those models. Hope that helps. Thanks, Flipp.

Hi Jack - thanks for your question. These would not fit onto a Rip with the parts that come in it as standard. The front sprocket would need to be a chainring held on by bolts, and the rear uses a freewheel. Thanks, Flipp.

Hi Jon - thanks for your question. This sprocket can be used on either a threaded hub, or threaded cranks. If you have a front freewheel, you will need a rear sprocket. If you have a rear freewheel or a freehub, you will need a front sprocket. Hope that helps. Thanks, Flipp.


Does this sprocket come with a locking or do I buy that separate?

Great sprocket at a great price, as someone has said the offset has helped. I used to have chain alignment issues and this sprocket has helped, looks very tidy and isn't heavy either.
