- The new Pro 5 Trials S/S rear hub from Hope has been redesigned from the ground up, offering some significant upgrades over the legendary Pro 4!

Please note, all options where an axle type is not stated are 135 x 10mm bolt in.
- New update free hub with 108 point engagement utilises a 4 pawl offset design where 2 pawls are engaged at any time on the 54 tooth ratchet ring.
- A Trials specific spring design gives firm engagement, whilst keeping drag to a minimum.
- Wider pawls now sit inside the spring, which acts as a pawl seat inside the free hub. This helps increase load capacity and reduce wear of the free hub body pawl seats.
- New drive side labyrinth seal has zero drag and improved sealing against water and dirt ingress. It's also now much easier to remove and install the seals and free hub!
- Main axle has been machined with increased distance between the free hub bearings to improve stiffness. A taper on the drive side allows for a larger diameter drive side bearing for increased strength and durability.
- A new 2014 grade T6 alloy hub shell increases stiffness with sleek, new, laser etched Pro 5 graphics!
- Tough aluminium alloy axle has M10 threads in the end to accept large bolts (included in the price), featuring an 8mm allen key fitting to improve bolt head longevity and ensure your wheel stays put! The 12mm version differs slightly, having a plain 12mm hole through the hub for use with 12mm bolt through rear axles / frames only.
- Suitable for 135mm and 142m spaced frames.
Please note: for frames with 135 x 12mm spacing you may need to switch the 3mm free hub spacer supplied for a 1.5mm spacer for the cassette lockring to clear the frame. If you need a spacer please get in touch!
- Steel 6-speed free hub body resists digging in when used with steel sprockets.
- Runs on a full compliment of new, custom made stainless steel sealed cartridge bearings.
- 6 bolt International Standard disc mount for those electing to run a rear disc.
- Stocked in a wide range of colours, drillings and axle styles. If there is a variation not listed that you would like to order, please contact us.
- Tough alloy axle provides a solid basis for the hub, and allows the hub to be held in place with heavy duty M10 stainless steel axle bolts with serrated washers.
- Includes a Hope single speed spacer kit (but not the lockring).

Hi!<br /><br /> Is the 135×12 version of this hub compatible with the Inspired Fourplay Pro 2022 frame? (I think the frame hasn't changed much since then, but just want to be sure.) Asking because I’m not entirely clear about the note ‘not for use with standard frames!’<br /><br /> Ty :)

Yes, it is! The Fourplay frame has been a 135 x 12mm rear axle standard since 2020. Any Inspired Fourplay bike made from this date onwards will feature the 135mm x 12mm through axle rear end as found on current model Fourplay bikes.
