SRAM GX Eagle Crankset (With Bashring)

Product code: 13342

In stock

SRAM GX Eagle Crankset (With Bashring)

  • Super nice crankset from Sram & Inspired!
- New from SRAM, the GX Eagle Crankset, complete with BB and direct-fit Inspired Integrated Bashring!
- As tested by the Inspired team, including our very own Ali Clarkson and Ben Travis.
- Crank arms forged then machined from 7000-series alloy for a good mix of strength and weight.
- New arm profile from the previous generation Truvativ Descendant cranks mean improved stiffness and rigidity.
- Great clearance at the rear of the crank arm gives more chain and seat stay clearance.
- For a stronger connection, the steel BB axle is pressed into the drive side crank arm.
- Supplied BB is compatible with 68mm or 73mm BB shells.
- Alloy BB cups help reduce weight.
- Sealed bearings with additional bearing covers help prevent the ingress of water and dirt to keep them spinning smoother for longer.
- Pimp CNC-machined bashring is constructed from 7075 alloy, and has an integrated 22t chainring.
- Direct-mount fit to the crank arm means maximum stiffness and strength.
- Integrated bashring is compatible with 1/8" and 3/32" chains.
- Compatible with a range of frames including the Arcade, Fourplay and Skye. Unlike with the Descendants, we have found riders have been able to fit these cranks to Arcade frames without needing to grind the rear of the crank arm down.
- Supplied as a kit including crank arms, self-extracting crank bolt, BB and bashring.
- For use with a 73mm BB shell, you won't require any spacers. For frames with a 68mm shell we recommend using one 2.5mm spacer on each side - these are not included, you would need to buy them separately here.
- 175mm arm length only.
- Weight: 730g (Complete kit)

Can this be bought with the BB as I already have a hope one with gxp adapters. Cheers Gavin.

Hi Gavin - Unfortunately, these will only be available with BB. Sorry! Thanks, Mark

Hi, I think everyone with an Arcade / Console are going to want a set of these.. it would be really helpful if you could provide a photo of the modification and / or clearance we can expect... I'm ordering regardless, but it may help anyone with any concerns? Cheers J

Hi James - You need to grind 3-4mm off the rear of the crank arm to get them to clear the chainstays. When you have them it becomes pretty clear where they need to be modified, but it's just around the pedal area. Please note that, for obvious reasons, this does void the warranty. You may also need to take off a little more than you'd think as the crank arms will have a little flex while you ride so can still contact the stays lightly. Thanks, Mark

How many BB spacers per side on a fourplay frame?

Posted by Gavin Watt on 01/03/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 02/03/2017

Hi Gavin - This would depend on the age of your Fourplay. If you have a Fourplay with a 73mm BB shell, you wouldn't need to use any spacers on the BB. If you have a Fourplay with a 68mm spacer, you would need to use a spacer on the drive side. Thanks, Mark

Stefan Nielsen

hi tarty what is the axel outer diameter 24mm or 30mm ? thanks stefan

Hi Stefan - These cranks use a steel 24mm axle. Thanks, Mark

Hi, I assume its GXP version as it is written on BB, yes? Is it standart 49 mm chainline or boosted 52mm? Also, can I use both standart and boosted versions of decendant cranksets on inspired 2014 frame without any problems? Thanks!

Posted by Petras on 24/07/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 25/07/2017

Hi Petras - That's correct, it is the GXP BB. We've had a look into this, and it seems that the difference in the 49mm to 52mm chainline is achieved through an offset chainring. The crankset and BB should be the same for both cranks. If you wanted to use the Inspired integrated bashring with the cranks, then it would give you the same chainline whether you had a set of "standard" or "boosted" cranks. Thanks, Mark

Hi, will these fit an Inspired Skye V3 frame? Thanks for you help, Simon

Hi Simon - These should fit the Skye V3 fine. Thanks, Mark

Hi Domi - These cranks should fit the Flow fine. Thanks, Mark

Hi, when will these be available again and will they be a suitable replacement for the cranks on my 2012 element

Hi Ben - We hope to receive some more Truvativ cranksets late in 2017. They should fit your Element fine, and would be a nice upgrade from the standard cranks too. Thanks, Mark

Hi tartybikes would the TRUVATIV DESCENDANT CRANKSET (WITH BASHRING) fit a inspired flow 2015 20 inch the blue one and would the magura mt7ís with the magura HC3 fit on the front disc the disc size is 160m and would i be able to fit it through the steer tube

Hi Josh - We believe these cranks should fit the Flow fine, although we haven't done it ourselves before. The MT7 brakes should fit fine too. To route it through the steerer tube you would need to use the Inspired Headlock V2 kit. Thanks, Mark

when are these going to be back in stock

Hi Dan - We don't have a restocking date for these cranks, sorry. We're hoping to find out more at the start of the new year. Thanks, Mark

hi, i only require 1 crank arm for my 2012 element what would fit it or do i have to get a full crankset. if so what other ones will fit apart from this one

Posted by ben on 30/12/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 02/01/2018

Hi Ben - Although we don't sell them ourselves, it's possible to buy single Truvativ crank arms online. Your bike will have been fitted with 175mm Truvativ Hussefelt crank arms, so if you search for the specific arm you need (right or left) you should find something. If you're looking to replace it because you've stripped a pedal thread, we offer a Pedal Thread Helicoilling Service which would be a cheaper option. You can find this item in our Workshop section. Thanks, Mark

Matthew Doan

Dear Tartybikes, now I'm using Truvativ Hussefelt crankset, I wonder that will the Hussefelt's BB fit the GX by removing the Howitzer axle?

Posted by Matthew Doan on 07/09/2018

Reply from TartyBikes on 10/09/2018

Hi Matthew!
Unfortunately the Howitzer BB isn't compatible with the GX cranks, sorry. Only the GXP BB will work with them. This is supplied with the crankset though!

Hi, will this kit fit my Pashley 26mhz?

Posted by Andrew on 18/11/2018

Reply from TartyBikes on 19/11/2018

Hi Andrew!
We haven't fitted a pair of these to a Mhz frame, but they have good clearance so I would expect them to fit.
You'll need to double check your frame's shell width and order some BB spacers to go with them accordingly.
