Inspired Truvativ V2 Integrated Bashring

- Updated design Direct Mount bashring from Inspired, for Truvativ/SRAM Direct Mount Cranksets!
- A unique CNC-machined integrated chainring and bashring.
- Machined from 7075 aluminium alloy for maximum strength and durability.
- One-piece design gives unrivalled stiffness.
- Large cut-outs help reduce weight and look great too!
- 22t chainring is ideal for most street trials bikes.
- Recommended for use with 3/32" chains, 1/8" chains are likely to 'scrub' the back of the bashring.
- Please note: ONLY compatible with Truvativ Descendant and SRAM GX Eagle cranksets (or other Truvativ/SRAM cranks using their Direct Mount 3-bolt system), NOT with any other brand/model.
- Not supplied with mounting bolts (you can re-use your existing bolts). Bolts must be fitted with fresh blue threadlock each and every time the bashring is fitted, and torqued to 7Nm.
- Weight: 70g

Please note that we recommend fitting a new chain at the same time as this product. With the chainring being in a 'fixed' position (not able to be rotated) and trials riding often being carried out with the same foot facing forward, this means that only a small portion of the chainring is loaded up. Using an old chain will increase wear drastically. It is for this same reason that we recommend replacing your chain more frequently when you use this item.

Questions

Thomas Molloy

Hi, I have a Skye V3 and need to swap the bashring as it has had a beating from failed attempts at bunny hops to rear wheel! I want to order a replacement, but some other items I want are out of stock. While I wait for the other stuff to come in, can I spin the chain ring around so the bottom that has flattened off is at the top? Also, how do you removed the cranks on the V3 to change the bashring/chainring ? The chain side is hollowed out unlike normal cranks and I am unsure how to remove it. Thanks

Hi Thomas!
If you have this style bashring fitted to your Skye, it's not possible to rotate it as the bolt positions are fixed. The splines and bolt positions are asymmetrical, so you can't rotate it as you would an ordinary 4-bolt bashring or chainring.
If you're using the SRAM/Truvativ Descendant cranks, then simply undoing the non-drive crank bolt will remove the non-drive crank arm, allowing you to slide the drive side assembly out through the BB. The crank bolt is a self extracting model so you won't need a crank puller to remove the crank arm.
Once you've got the drive side assembly off, the bashring is held on by three bolts that require a T25 Torx key.
Hopefully this makes sense - if you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Hi Kota!
This bashring is only compatible with SRAM Direct Mount cranks, so won't be compatible with any other cranks, sorry.

Hi Collin!
Inspired are out of stock currently, but should have more in early-to-mid November, all being well.
We don't have a confirmed date yet, but once we do we'll update the website. You're welcome to set up a stock reminder on the product page to be notified once the bashrings are back in stock.

Works and looks all too good!

Had some carbon Sram cranks lying around and thought I'd experiment with them first, then got some descendants for the trials bike. After a considerable amount of bashing and general abuse It remains straight! Would recommend this to anyone trying find a much smarter/neater looking crank set, plus the over all weight is far from a tonne! No need to fear bending which is great.
