Crewkerz are renowned for their innovation, and this bike is no exception. Following on from the success of the first generation Jealousy, this version is almost 500g lighter!

This bike is supplied with a 6 month warranty covering manufacturing and materials defects. The warranty does not cover mistreatment or poor maintenance. Please ensure all the details on the warranty sheet supplied with the bike are adhered to. Certain circumstances (such as stripped threads or rounded crank arm tapers) only occur due to a lack of correct maintenance and all manufacturers are aware of these situations, so any claims due to incorrect maintenance procedures are much less likely to be successful.

We build this bike to a 100% complete state in our workshop before dispatch to ensure all items are manufactured correctly and nothing is missing, but we do have to remove some parts to ensure there is no damage during transit. You will need some basic tools (usually 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm allen keys and a 15mm spanner) for final assembly upon arrival. Hi Tenzin!
If you're 5'9" then you'd fit this bike perfectly. We recommend these bikes for anyone from around 5' to 6' so you're safely in that range.
The frame is aluminium but the forks are carbon fibre. The Clean K1 and Monty M5 OS are the only carbon framed 20" bikes we stock.

Hey guys, I want to put some thicker spokes in my 2018 crewkerz rear wheel. But can’t find the centre to flance distance and rim hole offset anythere. Do you guys know these measurements? Thanks in advance, Bart

Hi Bart!
We don't have the dimensions to hand, although we should be able to estimate them from past experience, and looking through our spoke calculator.
That said, if you have the wheel there already, your best bet will be to measure the spokes you have if you're planning on retaining the same lacing pattern. This measurement is taken from the shoulder of the spoke to the tip of the spoke, at the end of the threaded section. You don't necessarily need to remove a spoke to measure it (although it will give more accuracy if you do), so just using a ruler or tape measure should allow you to see what length you'd need drive and non-drive side.

Hey Tartybikes, I've noticed some 20'' bikes have dual disc brakes and others have a rim brake up front, and a disc in the rear. I know rim brakes lock up easier, but why in the front and not the rear? Is it for performance? Or preference? And why do 26" comp bikes have dual rim brakes but 20" comp bikes don't? Thanks! -soren

Hi Soren!
Disc brakes have more hold and power than rim brakes, so they're still good on the rear of a 20" bike where you need that hold more than you necessarily need immediate bite. The front brake tends to be a bit more "on/off" for most competition riding these days, so having that snappy bite from a rim brake works better for that application. It also helps save a little weight too.
Disc brakes don't tend to work as well for trials on larger wheel sizes as you get more spoke flex. As 26" wheels use much longer spokes, the twist/flex you get between the hub and the rim is more pronounced. With 20" and 24" wheels this isn't so noticeable, but for really precise/accurate competition style riding it becomes more of an issue on a 26" wheeled bike.
A 160mm rotor is usually fine for 20" wheel bikes, but for 26" you will usually need at least a 180mm or 200mm rotor so that increases the weight penalty of running a disc brake too.

Had this bike for just about a month now and what a difference, bike is super stiff and the geometry is perfect. Really impressed with the technology used on the bike, the thru axles mean that wheels never need set up, the cranks are super stiff with no flex in the frame. Genuinely impressed by the ingenuity of crewkerz.
