i bought these barbed fittings as i had a old syringe and tubing lying around at home. i then attached the barbs to 2 bits of tubing and screwed one into my 2004 hs33 lever after removing the bleed screw and the other one to the bleed screw of the brake at the wheel end of the system and used the syringe to pump fresh fluid into the system for a cheaper alternative to maguras bleed kit. all in all tarty bikes hi quality service which was speedy and a top notch product
