Tarty Bikes - Opening Hours Update

From October 13th, 2025, the warehouse will no longer be open on Mondays! This means our new opening hours will be as follows:

Monday - CLOSED

Tuesday - 9:30am to 5pm - Closed for lunch between 12:30 and 1pm

Wednesday - 9:30am to 5pm - Closed for lunch between 12:30 and 1pm

Thursday - 9:30am to 5pm - Closed for lunch between 12:30 and 1pm

Friday - 9:30am to 5pm - Closed for lunch between 12:30 and 1pm

Saturday - CLOSED

Sunday - CLOSED

But, why the change? Since moving to running the business with a single employee earlier this year, I've found that certain tasks are being increasingly neglected while trying to run the 'every day' elements of the business. Things like photographing products, back end admin, stock control, supplier ordering, social media, custom product manufacture...the list is pretty big! I've come to the decision that in order to balance things again, I need to give myself a day in the week to tackle some of these jobs.

I'm by no means taking a long weekend! I need this time to keep on top of important tasks that keep the business running smoothly, and crucially, keep it operating to the high standard it always has. This will have an impact on customer orders and correspondence:

- NO ORDERS WILL SHIP ON MONDAY DURING A WORKING WEEK -

All orders need to be placed no later than 1pm GMT on a Friday during a working week. Any orders placed after this time will ship on the following Tuesday.

- THERE WILL BE NO EMAIL OR PHONE RESPONSE ON MONDAY DURING A WORKING WEEK -

I will be keeping an eye on the inbox, but my focus will be on the 'office tasks' that this time is intended for. If you want to get in touch, please use the WhatsApp or WeChat numbers. I check my work phone every working day, and will respond much faster to messages left on these platforms.

- THE WAREHOUSE WILL BE CLOSED TO CUSTOMERS ON MONDAY DURING A WORKING WEEK -

This means there will be no collections, drop ins, deliveries or shipping taking place.

I will trial this change for a few months, and if it's not working, revert back to normal hours. I want to thank all my customers for your continued support. Running a business the size of Tarty Bikes solo is no easy task, and I know that at times, things have taken a little longer than they did in the past. Your patience and understanding has been invaluable. I plan to put Mondays to good use, keeping a stream of new products, and updates flowing onto the site. Ensuring Tarty Bikes sponsored athletes get the support they need, making sure stock is kept to good levels, filling gaps where possible. Tackling all those admin tasks that are essential to the smooth running of the business. Keeping the site fresh with new offers, product news and more.
