- Disc brake rotor protector from Spanish brand, Clean!
- CNC-machined from 5mm thick 7075-T6 aluminium, with sections machined down to 3mm to save weight without compromising strength.
- Extra 5mm thickness at key, high stress areas, gives better rigidity than thinner disc protectors, making the Clean X2 Disc Protector less prone to bending on impact.
- To maximise compatibility with as many different frames as possible, the Clean X2 Brake Disc Protector fits on the inside of the dropout, taking the place of a disc side hub spacer. A small machined lip on the inside face of the protector sits against the hub bearing.
- It may not be possible to use a snail cam with the Clean X2 Brake Disc Protector installed. Most frames have enough flex to allow + / - 2mm in OLD spacing. If you have a horizontal drop out frame designed for snail cams, and you want to keep using a cam on the non drive side, please ensure there is enough room to allow for this protector and a snail cam. Alternatively, the Jitsie Disc Protector has a 3mm thickness, leaving more room for snail cams if needed.
- Covers up to 160mm rotors.
- Large cut-outs help save weight, but still provide good support and protection from knocks and scrapes.
- Anodised in Red with laser etched Clean logo.
