Hi, two questions, Firstly, Will the BB fit my 2012 Onza Bird? And secondly, would I be able to upgrade the crank arms in the future to a pair of 48 spline 19mm Premium 1948 bmx cranks? Sounds weird but I'm upgrading it for heavy park riding. cheers guys. :)

Hi Andrew - thanks for your questions. Yes, the bottom bracket will fit your frame, but you will encounter clearance issues with bigger sprockets. The Inspired Integral sprocket/bashring will fit, and we're quite confident a 24t sprocket will clear the chainstay too. We do not know if any bigger sprockets will clear if you were hoping to run a bigger gearing for use in skateparks. Upgrading to the Premium cranks arms in the future would fit just fine, though you shouldn't need to do so - these cranks are of a very high standard already! Hope that helps. Thanks, Flipp.

Hi guys, will the axle on these cranks be long enough to clear the BB yolk on the new Inspired Element frame or the Inspired Flow Frame? As I'm currently looking to buy one of those frames. Many thanks in advance.

Hi Scott - these cranks/BB should fit either of those frames absolutely fine. Thanks, Flipp.

Daniel Fahey

Hello- Just wanted to double check that these cranks will fit my Inspired Hex pro?

Hi Daniel - these would fit your frame just fine, though you would not be able to use your current chainring or bashring on them. Thanks, Flipp.

My arcade crankset has become really lose figured out that it's the bottom bracket that has given out due to movement in the arms. Is it possible to just buy a bottom bracket that will fit the arcade 2015 or will I have to pay for this?

Hi Jack - Is it the bottom bracket axle or the bearings themselves you need to replace? Typically, BBs for BMX cranksets will just feature the cups and bearings, with the axle being supplied with the cranks themselves. If you need to replace the BB, DMR and a few other companies make external bearing Euro BBs (they will come with a selection of spacers to use between the bearings for use with different width frames, just make sure you use the right amount). If you need the axle itself, these can be found separately from a few different places online - you need a 19mm, 48 spline axle that's 152mm long. Thanks, Mark

What is an inspired arcade crank removal tool? Please tell me if you know the size, mm · inches.

Hello - A normal crank extractor tool (such as the IceToolz Crank Puller - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/tools/icetoolz_crank_puller/c31p11518.html) should work fine with the Arcade crankset. Thanks, Mark

Will the updated cranks fit a 73mm wide bottom bracket? I noticed there only being mentioning of 68mm wide bbs.

Hi Austin - These cranks would fit a 68mm shell, but you would need to fit some additional spacers between the BB cups (on the axle, between the bearings) to make up the extra width. Thanks, Mark

Iím wondering if this crankset comes with spacers for it to fit a 73 mm shel

Hi Sebastian!
The Arcade Crankset doesn't come with additional spacers to adjust BB shell width, sorry. It is just supplied with the spacers required for it to fit a 68mm shell.

Hi guys, any news on when these are due in stock?

Hi Andrew!
We were due to be placing an order with Inspired a few days ago but it got delayed. We should be placing it in the next few days, so we should have more of these within a week or so all being well.

Tom Harris

can you get hold of spare axles for these? thanks Tom

Hi Tom - Unfortunately, Inspired don't stock spare axles for these. They use a conventional 19mm x 48 spline axles though so BMX shops will often stock both steel and titanium axles for this style of crank. Thanks, Mark

Hi guys, just wondering if the crank arms are made of steel or not and if there hollow or not? Im probably going to get an arcade when I've got more money so if there hollow ill probably get solid cranks. Just checking before i spend almost £2000 on a bike, but im sure its worth it ;) cheers, Jordan.

Hi Jordan - thanks for your question. Yes and yes - the cranks on this bike are made from tubular steel. This should not be a deterrent for you as these cranks are very, very strong. Easily as strong as solid aluminium cranks. They also use a 48-spline system, so no other trials cranks would fit on the bottom bracket spindle. Hope that helps. Thanks, Flipp.

Daan Jenniskens
