- 180 points of engagement means almost instant pedal response for a more 'connected' feel to the drive train, ideal for technical riding where every pedal stroke counts!
- Engagement is achieved using 6 pawls with 3 teeth each, and a 60 tooth ratchet ring. Using the most common gear ratios below, this results in the following equivalent engagement at the pedals:
- 18:12 = Equivalent engagement of 270, or a ratio of 1.5 (the hub engages 270 times for each 360° pedal rotation)
- 18:15 = Equivalent engagement of 216, or a ratio of 1.2 (the hub engages 216 times for each 360° pedal rotation)
- A unique, aluminium free hub designed by Clean uses a standard HG pattern spline, compatible with any HG splined sprocket. We recommend using sprockets with a base thickness of at least 7mm to avoid the sprocket 'digging in' to the free hub body.
- The free hub contains two sealed bearings for smooth operation, and to resist 'flexing' of the axle under load, helping to reduce the risks of failed engagements.
- A threaded section on the spline for use with an external lockring.

- A CNC machined body made from high grade aluminium houses two sealed cartridge bearings. A wide diameter hub body helps to increase stiffness of the hub, and reduce stress on the hub flanges.
- An hollow, aluminium axle with an internal width of 12mm runs the entire length of the hub, further increasing stiffness and strength.
- Available in two version, 135mm (Crewkerz Jealousy, Ozonys Curve, TMS Vortex etc) OR 120mm specifically for Clean through axle frames.
- Stylish, laser etched Clean graphics and black anodised finish.
