Please note that we recommend double wheel tensioners for 15T and smaller rear sprockets. This is to ensure a healthy amount of chain wrap and help to eliminate the chance of the chain skipping. It is possible to fit these tensioners with sprockets under 15t, although that will require a setup that has a good amount of chain wrap and a small modification to the tensioner springs.
Bending the tensioner springs is not covered under warranty. The springs only require a gentle curve to maintain suitable tension, therefore deliberately bending the springs to gain more tension (bending the springs can actually lead to a reduction in tension) or over-tensioning the springs will invalidate the warranty.There are currently no questions relating to this product.

Great solution for a chain tensioner for bikes without a hanger

Brought this item arrived before time. A great solution. If I had the time I would have built the tensioner myself as it's so simple. the spring is a hacksaw blade trimmed down but does the job perfectly. Saw this product watching Ali Clarkson's recent build of one of his bikes, he pointed me here. one thing I would say is that the spring retaining bolt is quite hard to adjust on a single-speed bike unless you have an Allen key ratchet, normal Allen keys won't fit into the space between the frame and the tensioner. But apart from that excellent. if there is no other solution. Upate: jockey wheel housing snapped make it out of metal or titanium not plastic. Lasted a year and a few months, but well worth the purchase price.

Update: Thanks for the feedback Roy, that's useful to know! Unfortunately this product is discontinued and won't be available any more (we'll leave the listing live just in case that changes) but we will be looking for an alternative and we'll keep that feedback in mind when sourcing a replacement.
