Hi. What is the benifits of using this intergrated booster compared to a normal booster and clamps?

Hi Sam - The main benefit of the TNN Booster system is that by locating the booster lower to the frame, it eliminates the flex traditionally associated when you use longer (typically 45mm long) bolts to attach the booster to your frame. From their tests, TNN were able to work out that it is significantly stiffer than a conventional booster in that aspect. You also save weight as you don't have to use the longer bolts (with accompanying spacers). As the booster sits lower to the frame, it also makes it harder to hit and potentially bend. TNN's clamps also use a washer-less design which can make brake setup a lot easier. For more information, you can check out TNN's video on the Booster system by going to Youtube and searching for TNN Integrated Booster. Thanks, Mark

Hi - I have been using a 4 bolt booster because I kept on hitting the cross-over pipe, will this still protect that so that I won't keep breaking it? Thanks.

Hi Rhys - The TNN booster sits below the cross-over so it means it is a little more exposed, but it should stop it moving too much. If you definitely need the cross-over coverage, then a traditional 2-bolt booster may be a better option as that'll totally cover the hose. Thanks, Mark

Would this booster system fit the Echo Lite?

Posted by chad lamb on 28/12/2010

Reply from TartyBikes on 28/12/2010

Hi Chad - As it says in the description, the TNN system fits brake mount spacing of 95mm to 105mm. The Echo Lite frame has the mounts spaced at 100mm. Because of this, it'll fit fine. Thanks, Mark

Hello. Can you tell me if this booster is suitable for a onza genesis 20" running echo tr rear rim 19" with maxxis creepy crawler rear tyre 19" (2.5) please? Many thanks.

Hi Jake - that would fit just fine. Thanks, Flipp.

Would it fit a mission competition spec bike?

Posted by Sam on 25/07/2016

Reply from TartyBikes on 25/07/2016

Hi Sam - Unfortunately we don't have a Mission frame here to check. If you're able to measure your brake mount spacing (as shown in the second product image), you can then check that against the measurements of the booster to see if it will or not. If the spacing is between 95-105mm then it should fit fine. If it's smaller than 95mm, the Trialtech Sport 2-Bolt Booster fits down to 90mm spacing. Thanks, Mark

Great product

Really nice booster, very stiff. Clamps work perfectly although the alloy there made from seems a little soft.

Hi Paul - I'm glad you like the booster and clamps. Thanks for the review.

As the previose review says this is an amazing set of clamps and booster but the material does seem a little soft but aside from that super easy to set up and super pimp lookin too In terms of performance if u have lgm pads and this setup then u never have to worry abought ur brake again super stiff my rear brake has never felt soo good

Reply from TartyBikes on 24/04/2012

Hi Dan - If you're concerned about the 'softness' of the brake clamps then it may be worth using a torque wrench just to be on the safe side. When done up to the correct tightness they're usually fine - the only time we've seen them bend enough to break has generally been when people have been a little 'gung ho' with their allen keys! I'm glad the booster, clamps and pads are working well for you though, they're a good combination. Thanks for the review!
