Questions

ian Lawson

Hi could I use this hub on a normal 135mm spacing mountain bike with QR dropouts ( as a Single speed) - i.e. is the disk spacing the standard rear disk spacing for a MTB and would the hup be durable for everyday use ( 50 miles a week all year round) ? Regards Ian

Hi Ian!
If you have standard QR dropouts, this hub should fit in fine. It uses ISO disc spacing so you shouldn't have an issue with your frame assuming it has a standard disc mount position.
In terms of durability, these hubs stand up really well to trials use so are definitely strong enough for general riding. They come fitted to the Flow, Flow Plus and all Pro spec Inspired bikes so we've sent out quite a few over the years! Regarding the bearings, it's always been a focus of Trialtech's hub range that they use the best possible quality bearings so you shouldn't have any worries about them.
Hopefully this helps, but if you have any more questions please ask.

Hi! Can I use this hub with the Jitsie 108 16T freewheel?

Hi Manuel!
That combination should work fine together.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Can I put a fixed cog on this hub? I am thinking of my LBS building one wheel with this hub and a dos eno freewheel (16-19T), and another wheel with this hub and a sugino fixed cog. Thank you very much for your time.

Hi John!
It's possible to use a fixed sprocket on this hub, but only if you're using a front freewheel setup or similar where there isn't the requirement to use a lockring with the sprocket.
It isn't wide enough to use a fixed sprocket and a lockring of some sort, so for a totally fixed gear setup it wouldn't be suitable, sorry!
