All bikes may feature small blemishes in the anodising or marks in the finish of other components - this does not affect your warranty.

This bike is supplied with a 6 month warranty covering manufacturing and materials defects. The warranty does not cover mistreatment or poor maintenance. Please ensure all the details on the warranty sheet supplied with the bike are adhered to. Certain circumstances (such as stripped threads or rounded crank arm tapers) only occur due to a lack of correct maintenance and all manufacturers are aware of these situations, so any claims due to incorrect maintenance procedures are much less likely to be successful.

We build this bike to a 100% complete state in our workshop before dispatch to ensure all items are manufactured correctly and nothing is missing, but we do have to remove some parts to ensure there is no damage during transit. You will need some basic tools (usually 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm allen keys and a 15mm spanner) for final assembly upon arrival. We have a video guide here to help, but please don't hesitate to contact us if you require any further assistance.

Questions

Julie

I am just getting started in trials but do not know whether this bike would be suitable for my height and weight. I am 6ft tall and weigh 11 stone, do you have any ideas? Thanks in advance, Julie.

Reply from TartyBikes on 15/07/2013

Hi Julie. This bike would be highly unsuited to you. Shorter people tend to stick to smaller bikes, and taller people to bigger bikes, though most people can get away with riding most bikes if they set them up in the right way, but this is a bike aimed at young children who are too small for a regular 20" bike. Thanks, Flipp.

lewis

I am 5'3 would this be comfy for me?

Reply from TartyBikes on 01/08/2013

Hi Lewis - this bike would probably be too small for you. It is aimed at riders too small for a full 20" bike, but too big for something like a Mini-Master. We advise that this bike is for people 150cm tall or less, and since you're already more than that and only going to grow, it's not a great fit for you! Hope that helps. Thanks, Flipp.

bob

Is it just a shorter stem?

Posted by bob on 01/08/2013

Reply from TartyBikes on

Hi Bob - no, it's not just the stem. There are quite a few other differences including a rear 20" wheel in place of a 19", and a considerably shorter frame geometry. Thanks, Flipp.

Rasmus Thomsen

Hi, Would you be able to ship this to Denmark?

Posted by Rasmus Thomsen on 06/01/2016

Reply from TartyBikes on 06/01/2016

Hi Rasmus - Shipping to Denmark is no problem. If you add the bike to your basket and head to the checkout, our website will automatically work out where you're based and find the shipping options available to you (with no obligation to buy). Thanks, Mark

crazyduke

Hello, my son is 9y old 1, 40m tall. Will this bike be a good fitting one and is the stem still the right size. Or should I take the echo mark IV and change the stem to have a longer fitting bike because he's grewing. Thanx Christian

Reply from TartyBikes on 22/02/2016

Hi Christian - It sounds like the Kid should be a good fit for him. As the frame has fairly long reach already, but is fitted with a relatively short stem, I think he would be better off going with the Kid then changing the stem when he grows taller. At 1.40m I think he would feel very stretched out on the Lite, and with the heavier rear tyre and rim on the Lite I think he may struggle to move the bike around at first. Thanks, Mark

Jonithin

Hi I am 4f 6in hight and I am wondered what bike is better for me the echo kid and you put disc bikes on it or the inspired 20 2016

Posted by Jonithin on 04/07/2016

Reply from TartyBikes on 04/07/2016

Hi Josh - The Kid is more aimed at competition style riding whereas the Flow is aimed at street trials style riding. Both are suitable for the same size rider (and you would fit both fine), so it just comes down to which style of riding you're hoping to do. The Kid has disc mounts on the frame and fork, but you would need to change the hubs on the bike as they are non-disc as standard. Thanks, Mark

Dougie

Are the brakes very strong on echo kid

Posted by Dougie on 17/05/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 17/05/2017

Hi Dougie - The Echo TR Disc Brakes on the Kid work very well. They're specced on the Lite and Lite SL bikes for adult riders, so with younger riders typically being smaller and lighter they're more than up to the job. Thanks, Mark

Gianluca

Good morning I'm interested to Echo 20" trial kid. Has the trial the ECHO TR Disc Brake? Thank you

Hi Gianluca - The Echo Kid is fitted with Echo TR Hydraulic Disc Brakes as standard. Thanks, Mark

modar

Can you give me a better price . I hope to buy

Posted by modar on 14/10/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 16/10/2017

Hi Modar - We've made every effort to make this bike as cheap as possible, which is why it's such great value for money when you compare it to other similarly-priced bikes. As a result we can't reduce the price any further, sorry. Thanks, Mark

Nick

Hi my name is nick (10 years old about 150 cm tall would this bike be easy to manoeuvre and is the bike my size?

Posted by Nick on 30/10/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 30/10/2017

Hi Nick - It sounds like you'd be at the top end of the height range for the Echo Kid, but it's possible to make the bike feel bigger by fitting a longer, higher stem. The standard stem is quite short and low so there is plenty of scope to 'grow' the bike to suit you. It should be nice and easy to move around for you though as it's a lightweight, nimble little bike. Thanks, Mark

emad

hi-I'm 155 cm if I change the stem to 128mm x 28° stem Is this good for me? and if not what i do?

Posted by emad on 02/12/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 04/12/2017

Hello - That should help make the bike a better size, but it may be worth looking at the Echo Lite MK6 as this will be a more appropriate size for you. If you are getting taller then you will continue to outgrow the Kid, whereas you will fit the Lite better and better. Thanks, Mark

Excellent

Posted by Jason on 19/11/2015

I returned from Spain last month and brought my lad home the New Monty 221k Nordic. Now when you put this super cool little cookie next to it it's so hard to tell which has the best build quality and which is three times as much as the other. Don't think about it just buy it. The pics are an injustice seriously, for sub £500 you get a bike of the highest spec for a kids bike that looks and feels like it should be a lot more.

Hi Jason - I'm glad you both like the new Echo so much! It is a great little bike. Thanks for the review!
