Would you recommend these for a flatter stem with a 24" bike?

Hi Jake - I personally prefer as high a front end as possible on my 24", so if you've got a low stem then I'd definitely recommend the High Rise bars! Thanks, Mark

Will these bars be a good idea on a mod with a trialtech high rise stem?

Posted by Rob on 20/12/2011

Reply from TartyBikes on 22/12/2011

Hi Rob - That depends on which frame you're using - most modern mod frames have a very high BB height so I think the High Rise bars might be a good bet. They were initially designed with the help of Rick Koekoek as he wanted a higher bar to use on his mod, so they're not just a bar for 24/26" bikes. We've set a few bikes up with these before and they usually feel pretty good! Thanks, Mark

Jack Dunning

Hi, are bars universal in the diameter to work with any stem? Would these work with a try-all stem?

Posted by Jack Dunning on 28/11/2012

Reply from TartyBikes on 29/11/2012

Hi Jack - All the bars we sell are the same clamp sizes as our stems unless stated otherwise. They all use the 31.8mm 'oversized' clamp size. The Trialtech bars and Try-All stems (any type) should work fine together though! We've built bikes up using the High Rise bars and the 3D Forged stems before with no problems, so with the new Try-All K2 stems it'd be even easier to fit them. Thanks, Mark

hi what does total rise 110mm means? how do you calculate total rise? can you tell me just the rise height itself without total?

Posted by nic on 02/01/2014

Reply from TartyBikes on 03/01/2014

Hi Nic - thanks for your question. The "Total Rise" is actually a link. If you click the link it will take you to a picture that explains that it means the height difference from the centre of the lowest point of the handlebar to the centre of the highest point of the handlebar (http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/images/handlebars/large_barrise.jpg). We do not measure just the "rise" as different handlebars all have different angles of sweep which changes how high they actually are. Hope that helps. Thanks, Flipp.

I just picked up a mint condition diamondback t20 would this set improve bunny hop height and side hops etc. I don't want the stem to be to low and flat as I am used to a high stem like the old onzas and montys

Posted by Peter on 20/09/2016

Reply from TartyBikes on 20/09/2016

Hi Peter - The bars themselves would, but the stem supplied is relatively low (120mm x 17), so it wouldn't compliment the geometry of the bike very well. The older Onza and Monty stems were at least 150mm x 30 so there is quite a difference in size. The Trialtech High Rise bars would help out with what you're after though if you currently have a stem with 31.8mm bar clamp area. Thanks, Mark

How much rise has the handlebar on its own?

Posted by Dennis on 06/05/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 08/05/2017

Hi Dennis - These bars have a total rise, from the centre of the bar clamp area to the centre of the tips, of 103mm. Thanks, Mark

Hi, would these bars fit a standard Onza pro 2010 stem?

Posted by Jordan on 26/09/2013

Reply from TartyBikes on 27/09/2013

Hi Jordan - yes, these would fit just fine. Thanks, Flipp.

lee calvert

Hi all is there any chance I could get this combo deal but with a 90mm x 35 degree also would be after X2 combo deals if it is possible thanks Lee

Hi Lee - Unfortunately, this bar deal is only available with the Trialtech Sport 120 x 17 stem, sorry! Thanks, Mark

Charles Hall

How does the rise on these bars compare to the rise on the Truvativ Hussefelt bars that come with a new Inspired Element?

Posted by Charles Hall on 13/09/2015

Reply from TartyBikes on 14/09/2015

Hi Charles - These bars will have a fairly significant amount more rise than the Truvativ bars. They do have quite a lot more upsweep though so may feel a little different to your Truvativ bars when you hold them. If you'd like to retain a similar bar feel to your Truvativs but gain height, the Inspired Arcade bars may be a better better as they have less upsweep than the Trialtech bars, but still plenty of extra rise overall. Thanks, Mark

gary woods

Hi Gary - Unfortunately, we're not able to mix and match stems in this bar deal, sorry.

Konstantinos Paschalis

Hello, I just wanted to know if it is possible that you cut down the bars to 655mm before shipping? Thank you, Konstantinos

Posted by Konstantinos Paschalis on 19/01/2017

Reply from TartyBikes on 19/01/2017

Hello - Cutting the bars down for you would be no problem, simply add our Handlebar Cutting service (Quick find code: 013320) to your basket and specify in the notes the width you'd like your bars to be. Thanks, Mark

An Awesome Bar

Posted by LukeJustLuke on 30/12/2010

So after struggling with many a handlebar i can finally say that these are perfect! I have to agree these bars have to be on the right set up but they are fantastic! They also look the nutz!! A great high rise bar and highly recommended!

Spot on

Posted by Craig on 08/06/2011

These bars are awesome! I'm tall and use a 20" bike so these bars give me just that bit more height and space on the bike, the only thing I will say is that you do need them quite far forward otherwise they just don't feel normal.

very very goooooood~~~!!

Posted by Seungheon on 06/07/2011

Do not have to say . Geometry is very nice But Slightly heavier

The best!

Posted by Mark on 24/08/2011

These bars are amazing, really good angles, and not too much of a rise which i was worried about on my MOD bike. Definately reccomend.

Reply from TartyBikes on 24/08/2011

Hi Mark - Glad you like the bars! I've used them on my bike for a while too and found them to be very good. Thanks for the review.

Best bars I have used. Had 2 sets of these, not cause they broke just different bikes. I love them so much I'm going to get a 3rd set when I can for my new ride. Strong and feel so nice.

Hi Jason - I agree with you about the bars! I've had a pair on each of my bikes and they do feel great. Thanks for the review!
