This item is for one crank only.
Ensure that your pedals are tightened to at least 310 in-lbs (35 Nm) every 5 minutes for the first few rides. Before fitting, it's also a good idea to make sure your pedal axles are clean (a wire brush works well) then greased before installation.
Similarly, always check crank bolt torque is at least 310 in-lbs (35 Nm) every 5 minutes for the first few rides, then each and every ride after that.
Failure to keep your pedals or crank bolts tight as described above is likely damage your cranks and this will not be covered under warranty.

Hi there. Been waiting ages on this coming back into stock. Is there another item I can use instead. Find it really hard to get 158mm length anywhere. Am I better just getting a full crank set 160mm?? Thanks guys!! Kind regards Rich.

Hi Rich - Supply of these cranks from Monty is pretty tricky so unfortunately we don't have an ETA on them, sorry. Your best bet would be to go for a new pair of cranks realistically. As the difference in length is only 2mm, you wouldn't feel any change from going from 158mm to 160mm. Even a change to 165mm wouldn't be too noticeable - it would mainly be if you jumped up to 170mm or 175mm that you'd really notice a change in your gearing and how the bike felt when pedaling it. There's no hard and fast rule with crank length for different bikes (both Adam and I rode 20" bikes, and we used 170mm or 175mm cranks with no problem), it's just down to preference - as a result you do have some flexibility with which length you opt for. Put simply, longer cranks make your gear ratio feel a little easier as you have more leverage, whereas shorter cranks will have the opposite effect. Thanks, Mark
