bobby

I have a NS Capital 2 Frame with a Spanish BB just wanted to know will it fit ?

Hi Bobby, The bearings will fit in your frame fine, but the spacing of your bearings is more important - because the Echo BB doesn't use a tube spacer like a normal Spanish BB you'll need a BB shell with a 48mm gap between the bearing seats. Thanks, Mark

Przemek

Hello, I'd like to ask about bearings dimensions and is it possible to buy only bearings? Best Regards

Posted by Przemek on 12/12/2010

Hello - The OD is 37mm, and the bearing width is 10mm. The ID should be around 22.2mm. Thanks, Mark

derek

Hi will this BB fit the zoo lynx 09 frame? cheers

Posted by derek on 18/03/2011

Reply from TartyBikes on 21/03/2011

Hi Derek - You'd need a 'normal' ISIS BB to fit the Lynx frame, as this only fits Echo frames with a Spanish BB system (e.g. the 2011 Echo and ZOO! frames). Thanks, Mark

Hello - This BB uses an M15 spindle. Thanks, Mark

Steven

Is it possible to replace the bearings in these? Do you have the bearings in stock?

Hi Steven - We sell upgrade bearings for the Echo BBs here: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/bottom_bracket_spares/flybikes_spanish_bb_bearings/c103p11970.html Thanks, Mark

brett

Hi do you guys know if this bb would fit a 24-7 slacker, and would I be able to mount dmr crisis cranks to it?

Posted by brett on 26/10/2013

Reply from TartyBikes on 28/10/2013

Hi Brett - those cranks would fit on this BB axle though it will not fit that frame. These a "Spanish" style BB, your frame will need a "Mid" BB (2010 onwards. If it's an earlier model, we think you will need an "American" style BB, though are not too sure on that one). Hope that helps. Thanks, Flipp.

Bobby

I have a spanish BB installed in one of my echo frames and I'd like to know the best to remove it.Without having to buy a special removal tool,I was hoping you'd could tell me another way.

Hi Bobby - it may sound a little barbaric, but you just need to hit it. If you have a rubber/plastic ended mallet, just hit one end of the axle and the opposing bearing will pop out the frame. If you don't, then putting a block of wood on the end of the axle and hitting that with a regular hammer works just as well. They can sometimes get pretty wedged in so it might take quite a firm hit to remove the bearing, so start gentle and hit it gradually harder. Thanks, Flipp.

Rick

Is it possible to convert a thread bottom bracket to a push fit bottom bracket

Posted by Rick on 05/10/2014

Reply from TartyBikes on 06/10/2014

Hi Rick - thanks for your question. Unfortunately that's not possible as the bearings have a larger diameter than the threads. Thanks, Flipp.

Stefano

I can find with this hub axle and bearings from 145mm long 41,3mm ??

Posted by Stefano on 11/10/2014

Reply from TartyBikes on 13/10/2014

Hi Stefano - thanks for your question. The axle is shorter than that at 124mm, and the bearings have a 37mm diameter. Hope that helps. Thanks, Flipp.

joakim ødegård

hello, I wondered if you would let me know the geometry on the bearings, and all the dimensions of it. And if it would fit if I sputtered away the threads? Thanks, Joakim

Hi Joakim, The bearings are 37mm external size, they will not fit in a normal frame. Thanks, Adam

Hello - The Truvativ cranks will only work with the Truvativ bottom bracket, sorry! Any of the ISIS cranks we sell on our website will fit the Echo Urban ISIS bottom bracket. Thanks, Mark

Can i use this bb with Trialtech Sport Forged 175mm ISIS, Silver ?

Posted by yoon lee on 03/03/2012

Reply from TartyBikes on 05/03/2012

Hi Yoon - Those cranks will fit on this BB fine. As long as you have the correct frame to use the Urban ISIS BB then I can't see you having any problems! Thanks, Mark

John Chadbourne

Best way to press these in ? We have a 50ton press for wheel bearing's n the such at work but im wondering if a vice is a softer approach haha! Any advice would be much appreciated!

Posted by John Chadbourne on 09/09/2013

Reply from TartyBikes on 10/09/2013

Hi John - there is a specific tool available if you prefer to do things that way, but we find the easiest way of fitting them without that is to just use a vice as you said. The first side obviously goes in without issue, but because you need to have the axle in place for the other side, you can place a socket over the end which will let you press the bearing in around the axle. Hope that helps! Thanks, Flipp.

Hi Geun - thanks for your question. The outside diameter of the bearing is 37mm, inside diameter is 22mm and with is 9mm. Hope that helps! Thanks, Flipp.
