- CNC machined booster.

- Fully chamfered outer edges remove all sharp corners.
- Includes spacers and mounting hardware.
- Fits brake mount spacings from 90-105mm (perfect for Inspired frames).
- Vertical tyre clearance of 55mm (measured from the centre of the top bolt) to ensure clearance for 20" and 26" bikes.
- Available in anodised Black or powdered coated White finish with laser etched Trialtech logo.
- Supplied fully packaged with Trialtech stickers enclosed.

Additional Information

To ensure this booster will fit, measure the 4-bolt mount spacing of your frame before ordering, and check this falls within the value listed in the description. Have a look at the additional picture for details of how to do this.

Hi I'm looking for a brake booster 4bolt, that can fit under my hs33 brake mounts (like to get it out of the way, and don't like the look of it when its mounted on top of the brakes). On the picture I can see there is a cut out of material, is it enough for the Echo clamps? Thanks.

Hi Stefan - this would not work. It would only fit if you used the spacers that usually go on top of the clamps underneath them, and that would only cause the opposite of what you want a booster to do. Being that high up on the bolts would make it flex more than if you ran no booster at all. Thanks, Flipp.

Is it possible to use 4 bolt boosters as a v brake booster? As the spacing is too wide for using a v brake booster would there be any disadvantages to trying to use one for a rear v brake set up?

Hi Oliver - thanks for your question. It is highly unlikely that there would be enough space for the tyre to clear as vee brake mounts are positioned a little lower down the frame that a 4-bolt. You would also need to drill the booster out to M6, assuming you could find one that did fit (which we would consider unlikely, unfortunately). Hope that helps. Thanks, Flipp.

I have checked the height and mount size and that is all ok but my onza t-pro has 19 inch rear and a 2.5 rear tyre. Will the booster fit with my tyre?

Yes, it will clear the tyre fine. Thanks.

What is a difference in boosters which you are selling ? With is best please?

Hi Frantisek - thanks for your question. There is very little difference in performance between boosters. Some are slightly stiffer than others (The Trialtech and Tensile boosters, for example), but the difference is not huge. Just pick the one you think looks the best and fits your frame! Thanks, Flipp.

When will you have the black one in stock ?

Hi Dave - Trialtech are out of stock of the black one with no expected re-stocking date as yet, sorry. If you're in a rush and looking for a black booster, the 2-Bolt version of the Sport booster is still very effective so could be worth a look. Thanks, Mark

giacomo marini

Hi, can I use this booster with TNN clamps or booster's bolts are too long?

Hi Giacomo - thanks for your question. That depends entirely on the frame - some brake mounts have a deeper thread than others. It should work just fine, though if it turns out the bolts are too long, simply adding a spacer between the supplied spacers and the booster itself will overcome the issue. Hope that helps! Thanks, Flipp.

Gustavo Schinner

Hi! Do you know if these booster should fit well in an inspired element 2013 with evo 2 adaptor?

Hi Gustavo - Unfortunately, this booster wouldn't fit that setup, sorry. The Trialtech Sport 2-Bolt booster would work across the top 2 bolt of your Evo2 Kit though, so would help stiffen your brake up. Thanks, Mark

Perfect for inspired bikes

Posted by Chase on 14/08/2012

OK, so I've heard some people say inspired bikes don't need brake boosters because of their stiffer, street style frames. Well go ahead and pull the brake lever and then look down at the frame and give the lever a good squeeze. You'll see the frame flex out about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. That slight movement can result in the slightest loss of power, which could end with disastrous results if landing a little wrong on a handrail. I have an inspired hex and got this brake booster because of the info I've gathered, this one works the best on inspired bikes. It fits absolutely perfect and looks like it was made for the bike. Most important of all, when I give the brake a squeeze, there isn't a hair of flex. At first I didn't notice much of a difference when riding, but when doing trickier moves, I felt the rock solid hold which now lets me put almost 100% trust in my brakes when doing anything. My only complaint is that the booster came only by itself with its hardware in a package. No instructions or anything of that sort. So I had to look at pictures online to see how its supposed to be mounted.

Hi Chase - I'm glad you like the booster, and it's good to hear it's helped your brake out. None of our boosters come with instructions as there's usually only one way to fit them, so manufacturers opt to help keep costs down a little by not having to print any instruction sheets with them. Thanks for the review!

very good

fitted this to my bike and made it feel so much more firm. gave me confidence to do bigger hops. bit hard to set up but worth it

Reply from TartyBikes on 03/01/2018

Hi Craig - 4-Bolt Boosters are a little fiddlier to set up than 2-Bolt, but the trade-off is that greater stiffness you've found. I'm glad it's helping you ride better! Thanks for the review.
