Trialtech Sport 2-Bolt Booster

- CNC machined booster from Trialtech.
- Manufactured from top grade 6061-T6 alloy.
- Identical profile to the Trialtech SL Carbon booster ensures increased brake power and feel.
- Excellent internal profile minimises stress risers, and thus flex.
- Fully chamfered outer edges remove all sharp corners.
- Includes spacers and mounting hardware.
- Fits brake mount spacings from 90-105mm.
- Vertical tyre clearance of 55mm (measured from the centre of the top bolt) to ensure clearance for 20" and 26" bikes.
- Available in anodised Black finish with laser etched Trialtech logos.
- Includes full bolt and aluminium spacer kit. Bolts are M5 x 45mm long to work with standard brake clamps, so you may need to trim the bolts down or use longer spacers if you have slim brake clamps such as Echo TR.
- Please note: bolts supplied are now silver.
- Weight: 45g (plus bolts and spacers at 17g a set).

Additional Information

To ensure this booster will fit, measure the 4-bolt mount spacing of your frame before ordering, and check this falls within the value listed in the description. Have a look at the additional picture for details of how to do this.

rhys roach

Hi, I am unsure which is best for HS33 brakes, 2 bolt or 4 bolt. It is for a 20" Onza Ice mod. Thanks.

Hi Rhys - The main reason people choose to run 2-bolt boosters is that they still stiffen frames whilst not adding too much weight, and also make setup a little easier compared to 4-bolt boosters. If you're not concerned with weight and want the stiffest brake possible then it would make sense to go for a 4-bolt booster, however for most people a 2-bolt booster would be sufficient. Thanks, Mark

hello, I have a magura hs33 brake set for the rear but no booster, can't seem to find a magura booster anywhere but would this fit? thanks. Ash

Hi Ash - If you've got 4-bolt mounts on your frame it should do the trick. To check, if you measure across the top two bolts of your brake setup to see what the spacing is, you can then check that against the spacing listed on the site and see if it'll fit. Thanks, Mark

Is it possible for this 2 bolt brake booster to fit an Onza Zoot.

Hi Brian - there are two types of Zoot. if you are using a frame with V-brake mounts this will not fit, but if you have a frame with 4-bolt mounts for a hydraulic rim brake it will fit without issue. Thanks, Flipp.

Hi would the trials tech brake booster fit onto the magura hs11 hydrologic brake set (2 bolt ) if not what size many thanks

Hi Carina - it is possible on a few frames, but requires quite a bit of fiddling and setting up in an unconventional way so might not be advisable. Unfortunately we don't have any that are suited to this task (other than the one supplied with the brake) as they are designed to work with modern trials frames which are spaced wider than the Evo2 mounts which effectively sit inside the frame. Thanks, Flipp.

Lightweight and great

Posted by Callum on 22/02/2012

Great booster, very lightweight and fits fine. Only trouble was fitting it (ironic from the previous sentence) just getting my pads lined up perfect, once it was done, it was perfect :D Thanks guys!!

Hi Callum - I'm glad you like the booster! Fitting them can be a little tricky, although I've found in the past that you can get away with setting your brake up fully without the booster on, then attaching it one bolt at a time. That way your brake's easy to set up without the booster in the way, then stays set up as you attach the booster. Thanks for the review!

Very solid booster considering it is only a 2 bolt! Saved the frame flex issue on my bike. Bolts went rusty very quickly though.

Hi Ash - I'm glad the booster worked well for you. I'll pass the message about the bolts on to Trialtech and see if they're able to shed any light on it. Thanks for the review!

Very still and looks great and stopes my frame from flexing completely and braking power has improved a lot
