This bike is supplied with a 6 month warranty covering manufacturing and materials defects. The warranty does not cover mistreatment or poor maintenance. Please ensure all the details on the warranty sheet supplied with the bike are adhered to. Certain circumstances (such as stripped threads or rounded crank arm tapers) only occur due to a lack of correct maintenance and all manufacturers are aware of these situations, so any claims due to incorrect maintenance procedures are much less likely to be successful.

We build this bike to a 100% complete state in our workshop before dispatch to ensure all items are manufactured correctly and nothing is missing, but we do have to remove some parts to ensure there is no damage during transit. You will need some basic tools (usually 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm allen keys and a 15mm spanner) for final assembly upon arrival. We have a video guide here to help, but please don't hesitate to contact us if you require any further assistance.

Please note that the specification on the bike may occasionally vary slightly from the photos and description. If this happens then the overall effect will be an upgrade and it will not affect the cosmetic appearance of the bike drastically.

Ses pour savoir combien coute le velo en euro. Merci d avance

Posted by Gilles

Reply from TartyBikes

Salut!
The exchange rate changes all the time, so we recommend checking the price manually. Simply copy the price of the bike into your search engine, and type "1234GBP in EUR" - you will then see the latest conversion. If we told you a price in Euros now, in a weeks time it would be out of date as the price may have gone up or down.
If you need any more help, please ask!

Whats the axel to crown dimensions

Posted by Craig M

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Craig!
The axle to crown measurement for the forks is 410mm. You can find out full details about the forks here.
Hopefully this helps, but if you have any more questions please ask.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Albin

Hi there, i would just like to know if im to long for this 24" bike, my height is 184cm and i haven't found any clear height guide or anything so asking here! Thank you in advance.

Posted by Albin

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Albin!
We've got a height guide in the Additional Images (you can also see it here) that should help answer your question.
You should fit the Flow absolutely fine though, or any of Inspired's 24" range for that matter.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Kyle Olsen

Hey, Iím in America and I was wondering if, besides the shipping, there are any extra fees attached to buying a flow from across the lake?

Posted by Kyle Olsen

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Kyle!
There are no additional fees or charges from us, but your government will charge import duty on any bikes or parts shipped into the US from overseas.
These are typically 10-15% of the order value. FedEx will pay the customs fees on your behalf to speed up delivery, then once they've delivered your order will pass on an invoice for the duty paid.
If you'd like to check the exact amount required you can check on your government's website - they will display the various tariffs on there.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Alex

Can I get this bike In another colour and not in purple?

Posted by Alex

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Alex!
The Flow is only available in the colour shown.
The latest colour has only just been released so we don't foresee another colour option coming any time soon.

Jack

Hello, Do all the Inspired bike frames have the same geometry? I was wondering because on each of the models the geometry specs are a little different. Is this do to the forks? Thanks

Posted by Jack

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Jack!
All the Inspired models have different geometry to each other. Part of it is due to the forks having different leg lengths and axle offsets, but the main differences are within the frames themselves.
Their different frames are all built with a slightly different rider in mind, so consequently they have geometry that's altered to try and suit. For example the Arcade is a little more BMX-inclined so it has a much steeper head angle, and a slightly higher BB than something like the Fourplay which is a little more trials orientated and has a lower BB and a slacker head angle.
The Flow/Flow Plus has fairly neutral geometry to make it easy for new riders to get on and get to grips with street trials, but as some of their team riders like Thomas Triboulat have shown they're capable of doing pro level lines too.

ich würde gerne wissen ob bei dem bike nur der rahmen geliefert wird oder das ganze bike

Posted by max

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Max!
The Flow is only available as a complete bike, so you would receive the complete bike if you ordered this through us. Hopefully this makes sense.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Marcel Piecuch

If I'd chose the vbrake option does the bike come with different hubs than the other brake option bikes? Because if I want to upgrade to disk brakes after some time is it possible to mount new disks to the existing hubs or do I also need new hubs then?

Posted by Marcel Piecuch

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Marcel!
The wheels on the Flow are the same whether you buy the bike with V-Brakes or with Disc Brakes.
The only thing that changes with the brake upgrade are the brakes themselves. If you wanted to upgrade your brakes yourself at a later date you would simply need to change the brakes too.

Vincent

If I buy this bike whith V-brakes what would I need to uppgrade to disc brakes? And would I need a new wheel then?

Posted by Vincent

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Vincent!
The wheels supplied on the Flow are disc-ready, so you'd simply need to buy the brakes of your choice, the adaptors and the rotors. If you went for something like the Avid BB5 Disc Brakes, as they're cable operated you could re-use your existing levers so you could save some money that way.
If you need more help with choosing brakes, feel free to send us an e-mail.

Raduca Mihai

How long will it take if I'm in Romania.

Posted by Raduca Mihai

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Raduca!
Shipping times will depend on whether you select Priority or Economy delivery. Priority delivery is quoted as 1-4 working days after dispatch, with Economy being 2-6 working days. They are quite wide estimates as it can vary, but it is usually fairly quick!
Please note that there will usually be a couple of days of build time after your order is placed, so you will need to factor that in too if you are hoping to receive a bike by a certain date.

Vincent

I have a bugdet on £800 and im wondering what bike whould suit me the best. Im 164 cm and im 12 years old

Posted by Vincent

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Vincent!
If you're looking to get into street trials, then either the Inspired Flow or the Czar Ion would be a great place to start. There are plus points to each bike, but overall they're good value for money and will allow you to learn the basics and progress to more advanced moves too. The Ion has a slightly better spec in some places (which is reflected in the greater price), but if you wanted to save some money the Flow would still be a good choice. The only thing to note is that the Flow is sold with V-Brakes as standard, so if you wanted to have a dual disc setup it would cost an extra £75 for the BB5 brakes to be fitted.

Senna Kooijman

hi, i got a question, i already got a 26' trials bike with front a disc brake and a rear v-brakes. will i be able to mount the brakes on the inspired flow?

Posted by Senna Kooijman

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Senna!
Without knowing the disc brake type and if you're using any adaptors with it it's difficult to say if it will definitely fit the Flow, but it should be possible to find the right adaptor to fit it one way or another!
The V-Brake should fit on with no problems.

Aaron Kirkness

Can I run 203mm rotors on the flow? And should I be looking at Magura rotors if I have Magura brakes?

Posted by Aaron Kirkness

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Aaron!
Technically, running 203mm rotors will invalidate your warranty as Inspired only cover up to 180mm rotors, but in practise we've seen riders do this with almost all of Inspired's frames with no problems.
As long as you use the correct adaptors you would be able to fit them.
If you have Magura brakes, then either Magura or Shimano rotors would have the right sized braking area for them.

Adison Tuspongun

I live in Thailand Can I order and pay taxes?

Posted by Adison Tuspongun

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Adison!
Ordering from Thailand would be no problem. We ship bikes all over the world every day!
To check shipping prices and options, hit the "Add to Basket" button, then click "View Basket". When you do this, you'll be able to add any brake upgrade options you'd like to your basket too, but also check shipping prices. Our website automatically calculates them for you and displays the different options available.
We would ship the bike to you via FedEx, who would pay the customs charges/taxes on your behalf to help speed up delivery. Once you receive the bike FedEx will then invoice you for those charges/taxes.
If you've got any more questions, you can learn more about International Ordering here.

What colour dose the inspired flow come in? i hate orange... ??

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi William!
The Flow is only available in Gloss Orange. We don't anticipate this colour changing for the next season or so.

Tobias

Will the bike come out still in october?

Posted by Tobias

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Tobias!
As far as we're aware, that is still the case.
If this changes we'll be sure to make it clear on the product page.

Tobias

On which date is the bike back in stock

Posted by Tobias

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Tobias!
We don't have a set date that they will be arriving with us yet, sorry.
To find out as soon as they are available, I recommend setting up a stock reminder by entering your e-mail into the box on the product page and clicking the 'Notify me' button.

Paul

If i buy the Inspired Flow with the v-breaks can i install on my own hydraulic breaks or should i buy the Inspired Flow with the michanical breaks?

Posted by Paul

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Paul!
The Flow has disc mounts on the frame, fork and hubs as standard, so if you wanted to upgrade to disc brakes at any point in future you'd be able to do so.
The upgrade brake options available with the bike at checkout are better value than buying the brakes at a later date, but if you wanted to just buy the bike with V-Brakes that wouldn't stop you being able to upgrade on your own in future.
If you need any more help, feel free to ask!

This will ensure you're sent an automated e-mail as soon as the bikes go back into stock.

Peter

Do you think i will get used to a stiff fork? Been riding trials on my dirt jumper...

Posted by Peter

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Peter!
Getting used to the rigid fork should be no problem.
All of us here ride both rigid bikes and full suspension bikes, and the change between the two isn't a problem as the bikes feel so different that the difference in suspension is just part of that.
The Flow will feel a lot different to your dirt jumper simply because it has completely different geometry, gearing, weight, weight distribution and so on, so it will feel like a different bike. As a result the difference in fork won't really be as noticeable on its own.
For its intended use, the rigid fork will give you a lot of benefits over the suspension fork so I imagine that any difference you feel will largely be a positive one.

wout verschuere

if i get a inspired flow 24" with v-brakes, can i then get easily disc breakes on?

Posted by wout verschuere

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Wout!
Fitting disc brakes to the Flow is nice and easy thanks to them having disc mounts on the frame, and disc mounts on the hubs too.
The cheapest/easiest way to do it if you have the Flow with V-Brakes is to switch to using Avid BB5 brakes. As they're cable operated you can still use the standard V-Brake levers on the Flow, so you would just need some new Inner Brake Cables, Outer Brake Cables, Disc Brake Adaptors and Disc Rotors as well as the BB5s themselves.
The BB5s are supplied with adaptors and rotors, but they're only 160mm size so are a little small compared to the 180mm rotors fitted to the complete Inspired bikes.
If you need any more help choosing the specific parts as and when you come to changing brakes, feel free to ask. The only thing to note is that it is cheaper to upgrade to discs when you first buy the bike rather than doing it further down the line, so it's worth considering.

Hendrik

Can the bikes be delivered in South Africa

Posted by Hendrik

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Hendrik!
We've shipped bikes and parts to South Africa plenty of times before so that wouldn't be a problem.
Just so you know, we're expecting more of the Flow bikes in late October, but once they're in getting one sent across should be absolutely fine.

Flow 24 and awesome assistance

Posted by Cathy

I wanted to buy an Inspired Flow24 but live outside the UK. After lots of web research, it was obvious that the market leaders were Tarty Bikes in terms of sales and customer assistance. Upon calling to ask endless questions (regarding model, upgrades, shipping, customs and import tax) that were met with unequivocal patience, I purchased the bike which they built and shipped to me in Turkey within a fortnight. From the beginning to the end of my purchase, the TartyBikes team have shown unparalleled support, patience and professionalism. Also, the bike is awesome, but I think even if the bike had been terrible, I would still have had full customer satisfaction! Thank you to the team.

Thanks for your kind and detailed review Cathy, we hope you continue to enjoy the bike! Adam, Andy & Stan

Good package with a few flaws

Posted by Lukas

Bought this bike for me early this year when it was a bit more expensive and it still had alu forks. Recently I picked up the current Flow for my brother. Good things first. Most expensive but worth it, the frame. The quality is superb. It´s very stiff, plenty light and the finish looks good. It has proper welds and a balanced geometry. The alu fork as well as the newer steel one are both equal stiffness wise with only a slight weight penelty. They have a little give to them which is nice. Another part you can only say good things about are the wheels. After month of riding they are still true, no dends and spoke tention is good. No problem with the hubs either. The cockpit is solid except of the grips. They are probably as comfortable to your hands like a handlebar wraped in skateboard griptape. I would like to see a bar with a little bit more rise but that´s personal preference. There are some downsides too. You notice most of the money your spending goes into the frame and wheels because there are some parts that are not quite up for the job. E.g. the brakes. They´re extremly loud and braking is definitely not their strength. I could see over lacking modulation but the end bite isn´t there either. So updating them with the grips is a must. I´m a bit biased about the trialtech freehub. The one on the newer bike worked flawless from the beginning. Unfortunatly on my first Flow even after lots of hours bedding it in like mentioned on the website it still skips like once every ride which is not only annoying but can get dangerous. The squaretapered bb and cranks work for a lighter person but as I´m a big guy (~95kg), I managed to bend them quite easily. So they need replacement. In the end it´s a good package for the money but if you really want a fit and forget bike, spend a bit more on the Flow Plus. Either way you will progress your riding with the Flow. (This review was longer but sadly I reached the character max.)

Great Bike!

Picked up this bike a couple of weeks ago and the shipping was fast and easy. Amazing bike so far and my skills are quickly improving. The only problem i have was that when i got it the headset was creaky, fixed that but still some play in the headset. Other than the crappy headset im happy with the bike!

Reply from TartyBikes

Hi Seth - Thanks for the review, I'm glad you like your new bike! It sounds like something isn't quite right with the headset though - if you'd like to pop us an e-mail with some more info about it we can do our best to help.

Awesome bike!

Posted by Andy

I received my bike yesterday and assembled it immediately. It is my first trials bike and I love it. It is so much fun! The bike is so smooth, steady, and very solid. If you are contemplating getting into trials this is a great bike at the price point! I also purchased the disc brake upgrade and they came already installed on the bike. I am very happy with my purchase from the awesome guys at Tarty Bikes. Thanks for the great bike and awesome, fast shipping.

Awesome!

Posted by Justin

Went ahead and purchased this bike early January and I think it's the second best decision I've made. The best being to buy from Tarty Bikes. I went ahead and fitted front and rear discs to the bike on day one, so I can't comment on what the standard brakes are like, but the rest of the bike is a dream to ride. The build quality is superb and everything feels so tight and planted underneath you. Really couldn't recommend this bike enough. Whichever bike you do decide to buy from here you can rest easy knowing what a team you have supplying it. Very quick response times, very informative, just uber efficient. Really, really top job and I'm super stoked with everything!

Hi Justin - That's great to hear, we're all pleased you're happy with your new bike! Thanks for the detailed review. We hope you continue to have a great time riding it for a long time to come.
