- The extremely successful Monty 221 Ti bike has been further updated and improved for 2008, with a brand new frame design!
- This top of the range world championship winning bike features:
- Monty 7005-T6 Aluminium frame with triple butted tubing and shock absorbing concave design and top tube 'hump' to increase front end strength and stiffness. Each frame is carefully TIG welded to exacting standards.
- Cut out hole in the head tube saves weight and looks awesome!
- Clever paint finish leaves the frame silver in the areas more likely to get scratched, with white paint and stylish Monty graphics on the other parts.
- Monty 6061-T6 fork with 9mm thick disc tabs. 7075 Aluminium steerer tube.
- FSA Orbit Z internal headset with 7075 alloy cups and fully sealed angular contact bearings. Complete with anodised red star nut bolt!
- Monty 6061-T6 welded stem, Length 135mm by 25 degree rise, slightly higher and longer than last year. Handlebar clamp diameter 31.8mm. Carbon fibre finish with carbon fibre headset spacers.
- Monty 7075-T6 triple butted riser handlebar. Length 680mm, 31.8mm clamp region. White finish with stylish black and red graphics.
- Monty hydraulic disc brakes by Hope. Upgraded piston ratios for maximum power and control! Disc rotor diameter 160mm front and rear with special Monty Design, improved from 2007 - also available with rear Magura HS33.
- FSA ISIS Bottom Bracket, with oversize Cro Moly spindle and Aluminium cups. Axle length 124mm.
- Monty 7075-T6 ISIS forged and CNC machined cranks in 175mm with International Standard 1.37 x 24T thread.
- Monty 18T freewheel. Cro Moly construction with black-red finish and 6 pawls.
- Available with single speed or 6 speed setups.
- Monty 6061 Eagle Claw Bashring.
- Red Monty 6061-T5 rims front and rear. Front 32 hole, Rear 36 hole, both with squared out holes.
- Maxxis Minion Super Tacky rear tyre and Mobster front.
- Wheels built 3 with red aluminium alloy nipples!
- Comes with titanium bolts throughout most of the bike, including the brake calipers and hub axle bolts!

Certain circumstances (such as stripped threads or rounded crank arm tapers) only occur due to a lack of correct maintenance and all manufacturers are aware of these situations, so any claims due to incorrect maintenance procedures are much less likely to be successful.
