Trials Competitions

The UK has a very active and diverse trials competition schedule, all run under the Biketrial Federation UK umbrella. There are multiple regional competitions plus a national series that takes place in various locations from Surrey to the Highlands of Scotland and everywhere in between!

UK riders also compete in the World Championships where we've had multiple sucesses, in the form of past and present European and World Champions. All levels of riding are catered for though, the competitions welcome everyone from the age of 6 upwards including complete beginners, and there's even an 'MTB Class' which uses the Primary sections and is suitable for those who ride a normal mountain bike.

Here is a video guide we produced from Fort William 2013 to help explain the competition format:

We are one of the series sponsors and have been for a couple of years now, providing financial support and also running 'Give it a Go' sessions with our demo bikes.

If you're thinking of getting into trials, competitions are a great place to start. There's always a wide range of riders present who will be more than happy to chat to you about everything trials-related. Similarly, we're always happy to answer any questions you may have and the Biketrial Federation website has loads of info too!
