- New lightweight competition orientated frame from Koxx!
- Totally redesigned for 2011, featuring innovative touches like the integrated/internal head tube and new bash plate mounting style.
- Neat and compact new bash plate design (supplied with the Frame Kit) sees the frame use a 4-bolt mounting system unique to Koxx. The combined weight of the bash plate, bolts and rubber (104g) is less than competitors bash plates alone!
- Machined gusset between the chain stays helps brace the BB join, making the frame as strong as possible.
- Unlike previous models, the Sky 2 features a Post Mount rear brake mount built into the dropout with a reinforcing brace to increase frame strength and stiffness.
- CNC machined micro-dropouts are designed to give as much weld contact area as possible with the chain and seat stays to help strengthen the join.
- Built-in aluminium stubs allow the use of snail cams to get the best chain tension possible.
- Unique top tube profile changes along the length of the tube to give the largest possible weld area at the head tube and seat tube joins.
- Neat gussets between the top tube and seat stays to increase frame durability.
- 68mm wide BB shell has a machined out underside to save weight.
- 128mm long (135mm stack height including headset) externally butted CNC machined head tube uses an integrated top bearing with an internal lower bearing (also provided with the frame), providing an ideal balance between strength and weight.
- Gussets at the top and down tube join with the head tube are machined out to keep weight low whilst still strengthening this crucial area of the frame.
- The frame is shot-blasted then anodised to give a unique finish, which is complimented by subtle Koxx Sky graphics.
- Supplied with sealed headset.
- Total kit weight: 1.565kg (Frame: 1.391kg. Bash plate (Incl. bolts, washers and rubber): 104g. Headset: 70g.)
